Please tell us who is playing the awesome guitar music and what is that song called. It sounds like Joe Pass in it's style but I would like to know for sure.

Be cool if a new refrigerator came out of the other side

I would think ninety per cent of the fridges that are there are because the coolant gas has leaked out and it is uneconomic to repair them, half the CFCs are in the insulation.

Something I like to know? They get in that many iceboxes in everyday to keep a plant like that running in a work week it looks like the plant is to big for so little work how many people work there. Where do they get the boxes from. They have that many people getting rid of they're boxes or stores.whit the price of the scarp metal you realise the amount they have to have just to make a profit.you mean to say that they get that many in in a week

These fridges look too new to have died already. Planned Obsolesence takes its toll again. Older designs were made to last, I had a 50+ year old " English Electric " fridge until last year. The fault was fixable, but the Eco - Nazis won't let you get the refridgerant. Surely better to carry on using an old, well - made fridge, rather than bin it ? The thing was so old it had fibreglass insulation, not the dreaded CFC type.

What was the refrigerant then? The refrigerant used prior to CFCs tended to be toxic.

@@seneca983 CFCs were used as the blowing agent for the foam insulation as well as the refrigerant. Nowadays they use either HFCs or Cyclopentane.

Using a 50 year old refridgerator would be a lot worse than buying a new for the next 10-15 years. They are much more efficient now.

While some will be unreliable or short lived, a lot of people don’t maintain appliances nowadays.
They’ll have them too close to the wall, overstuff them, use them near too much heat (or cold) or, if manual defrost, not defrost as often as they should.
Not sure why people stopped looking after appliances but people were more careful with things before rampant consumerism, I have noticed.
