This is the first time I actually see Jade talking. I'm glad they did Love Like Winter with AFI, I like the song how it is, with the electronics but also the guitars and drums.
Same I think Decemberunderground took AFI in a new musical direction compared to Sing the Sorrow. "Love Like Winter" was best fit for AFI in my opinion.
Jade and Davey are awesome. It took them 15 years to get to the top, then after the mainstream let them go all the diehard fans still stuck around...through it all they are still making music as simply friends.
@@Phoenix21Health weak take. Depeche Mode was 100% legit. But they had haters who didn't like that they started poppy then explored more "alt" sounds. They aged, faced tragedies and life conflicts and that in turn darkened and deepened their music. As it would to most artists.
love love like winter.. one of the best songs I feel they've created with many elements mixed together. I'm glad they put it on decemberunderground. when you're cool, you're just cool. and they're cool. afi + blaqk audio😎.
@@jigan001 Yes and no. I would argue Material is somewhat straightlaced, Only Things We Love is even more asexual, then Black Palms is about the same level as Material. For Black Palms, Hiss is definitely sexual and Fish Bite strikes me as very sweet though oblique. Black Palms is less openly sexual than Material though, more playing with the overall vibes. None the less, the whole back half of the Blaqk Audio catalogue is still way sexier than any other Havok/Puget work
@@AggressiveTendencies Decemberundeground is one of their BEST albums... very well written, produced and it has the best sound for sure... nice punchy and warm at the same time... you can hear the hard work behind that record....love that album... crash love is great too... amazing guitar work on that one
I remember back when Blaqk Audio was still a rumor, I always thought it would sound like the second verse in Death of Seasons
I remember the day Bitter for Sweet came out. I had a feeling it would sound like VNV nation mixed with AFI. I was pleasantly surprised.

Yep thats one of the good things about being streghtedge
I always though Blaqk Audio was Davey Havok's Depeche Mode.
Depeche mode always felt dishonest to me, like a trying to be an alt version of Tears for Fears.

💚💚💚💚 both my favorite. Their music has helped me survive for a long time.
Hell yes!
Before I ever listened to AFI there was a growing popularity of trance and techno in the early 2000s in my area.
I'm pretty sure 37mm is the most obviously electronic/dance AFI song.
And it's one of my favorite
The first 2 rectums?
Dang Davey

love AFI and blaqk audio apparently new AFI is coming soon too :D
Dominic Foxx yes so excited
Their music always interesting
Love Blaqk audio some tron esq goth house it’s all so different and lovey
They can still do a Blaqk Audio version, would be most welcomed.
Take heed and don't tempt Davey lol
The sexual element diminished on Material? Bruh, did you read what you wrote for Graphic Violence?! 😂
Well, thats only one song, and that album, Only things we love and Black Palms are all extremely sexually repressed.

Я одна против опопсения Дэйви?
Вроде бы да 😊
Depeche mode was never as good as Blaqk Audio, fight me about it
Love all AFIs records 90s to now minus Decemberunderground. It was complete crap...
I've heard most people hating on 'Crash Love.' Do you dig that one?
@@AggressiveTendencies fuck yeah crash love is one of my fav records by them
