    I have always enjoyed hearing the teachings of the Rabbis. I'm not Jewish, but honestly, sometimes I think I have learned more from the rabbis than from the Southern Baptist pastors I've listened to, in my life. I was raised in the Southern Baptist faith, but I've found the Jewish teachings, and the culture of the people, to be very beautiful and educational. It speaks to my soul, that is. Thank you Rabbi Breitowitz, Rabbi Manus Friedman and so many other wise Jewish holy men who have taught LIFE and not just faith. You are all blessed.

    All Jews need to listen to this shiur and incorporate the truths of Rabbi Breitowiz's words. We have a choice, we can study Torah, be united, share the burden of Klal Yisrael equally in this time of war, and not repeat the sins of the meraglim. It's our choice. Certainly, G-d cares and is watching us and is watching over us.

    I once saw a bumper sticker that I thought was so on point, yet easily misunderstood...
    Every yeshiva student should serve in the army and every soldier should study in yeshiva.
    This would be our most natural state, as it has been the way throughout our Jewish heritage that Bnei Israel has serve HaShem.
    The Tanach is full of stories of great men who fought wars and were also learned and righteous, and to argue otherwise would diminish the greatness and holiness of Avraham, Moshe, Yehoshua, David and so on.
    Dead Jews cant serve HaShem or learn Torah. Chas v' chalilah

    People are nuts! You are sincere. Many "teachers" are hypocrites teaching judaism they don't practice and stepping over whoever points it out to them. It is TORAH not to sugarcoat those things. I love your shiurim and find it safe to like even before hearing the whole thing.

    The perfect compromise, is that if Chareidi must join the IDF, then Chilonim must learn Torah equally. Then all burdens are shared equally.

      Those who serve in combat do "take personal responsibility". That is the definition of it. Those who have had their neshamas warped to hide from combat by their corrupt rabbaim, even while monsters threaten their mothers, wives and sisters are the definition of irresponsible.

    • @jiggajewjay
      @jiggajewjay 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @marchess286 little bit close minded. There are many boys that were literally born to learn torah. Young Tzzadikim that belong nowhere BUT in the Beit Midrash.

    • @marchess286
      @marchess286 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jiggajewjay - - they are men, not "boys", even if their rabbaim teach them to avoid the duties of men. And no one was "born" to get their legs blown off by an IED. Why do you think large numbers of a whole community should be allowed to dodge serving at a time of existential threat to the nation get while others serve again and again. Also, have you never heard of hesder? Their Torah learning is at a higher level because its not accompanied by a shameful moral outrage. Hesder learning often continues in breaks from combat. Finally, since you discuss Torah learning, does this ring a bell, ""Shall your brethren go to war while you stay here"?

    The suggestion, by a Torah loyal, and Gedolim following Rav, that "maybe" Bnei Yeshiva leave the bais medrash and serve in the army (in whatever capacity).... is very disturbing. Shakla V'tarya not withstanding.
    And as an aside...Since this Army is run in a very questionable manner,
    both physically--sacrificing Yidden to protect the enemy? Oct 7? The stand down for 6 hours plus? Etc. Many questions about the IDF leadership.
    And spiritual dangers of a very immoral environment.
    This is not quite an army run according to Torah.
