She was entitled to a defense whether people like it or not. I think she’s innocent. All these characters involved…. I wouldn’t go to their house alone for a drink. They’re a scary group…I wouldn’t go there at all. Karen didn’t go either. I don’t blame her. Those Albert family members are frightening. Who could be friends with people like that?

It is appalling that the judge appears already prepared to retry this case? Won't ADA & DA review the weaknesses of the initial investigation vs. alternate more likely scenarios? Doesn't this trial reek of corruption from the initial (drinking pals) investigation, to the Judge (Auntie Bev's odd jury instructions) & the DA's office...? When DAs overcharge, they expect the poor schnook to accept a plea deal. Are we seeing why so many innocents are convicted...
--Juries are generally allowed to see portions of the transcript... Was the Judge's bias increased because of vacation plans; or feared reading in black & white would emphasize the Ludicrous Prosecution ?...
Maybe they had an issue charging her with drinking and driving knowing oggicers,detectives admittedly were wasted and driving not only that night but many nights and never hot charges or in any ttouble!

She had one juror that said she didn’t want to send her to prison … lol well guess what they said they were retrying her and she’s going to jail .. jury will be sequestered and no one will be able to help her .. bye bye bye

We do not know the split, but the jury note on Monday implies it’s more than just a single standout. The names of the jurors are sealed which is understandable given the circumstances. Should any of the jurors decide to open up on their own about their experience then we may find out a little more regarding the actual split number. Until then it’s just rumors. Unless, of course, you were seated on the deliberating jury…
Oh, and the Commonwealth said they “intend” to retry the case, not that they “will”. We shall see what Lally has to say at the status conference on July 22nd.

Do I believe Karen Reed murdered her husband? yes. Do I believe the police department was also corrupt and committed illegal actions involving the investigations? Yes. A special prosecutor and investigator should have been appointed.

A) Karen Read doesn’t have a husband. B) both medical examiners said injuries not caused by vehicle. C) FBI Accident reconstructionist said there was no car accident, then how did Karen murder John Grigsy? Hopefully, you’ll never be selected for a jury. 😊
