Excellent message. You have been given wisdom little sister. It is refreshing to hear someone who is being taught in the same way concerning so many things. I am sure that you are in Christ. Keep up the good work.
My mom has been prophesied to by a believer about 23 years ago. This woman gave her a very powerful word out of nowhere. My mom didn't think too much of it then or over the years. 22 years later, so about a year ago, my mom and I were eating dinner when she told me that story and as she was speaking she realized that the prophesy has actually become true now and she now even knows how. It all made sense all of a sudden. I was there to witness this moment of epiphany for her. It was a very glorious atmosphere and I think the Holy Spirit revealed it to us both at the same time to confirm it. Sometimes a prophecy can also take a long long long time to come true...

I have never yet been to a church where the gifts of the Spirit were in operation biblically like you described, Mikayla. Here I was starting to feel guilty for having too high standards in looking for a congregation of believers. Now I think my standards weren't high enough. It's very disheartening visiting one church after another that was lethargic/apathetic and know that I need to continue and keep on searching.
I fell asleep Mikayla while trying to wait on God in my prayer place. I kept falling asleep until I gave up after hours and went to bed, I felt so ashamed of myself for sleeping while waiting on God
Hello sister Mikayla. So with the story in 1st Samuel of the Israelites keep asking God, how was that not Gods will then bc then Jesus wouldn’t come through that birth line? How does Gods will then work?
I married my husband out of my selfishness. And I regret going by my own will . I have to pay the consequences now . When I married him I was still worldly, so I was lukewarm . This advice is good , the will of God is true humbleness, deny self and allow our Lord to lead That’s good to know , God speaks through 2-3 witnesses . Could be through word , what we watch or a person .
Thank you for your videos…if I have remarried but truly asked for forgiveness repented and given my life completely to him does that mean I need to divorce?
Matthew 10:34-36 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. Luke 21:16-17 16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. 17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. Matthew 10:21-22 21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. 22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Luke 14:26-27 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. Luke 12:51-53 51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: 52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. 53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Yes of course you can repent and be forgiven of anything in your past, but she didn't CONTINUE in her adultery or that isn't real repentance. You have to stop the adultery.
If your marriage is actually an adultery in God's eyes, then you need to stop the adultery. Jesus said remarriage is adultery in several places. The only way to repent of adultery is to stop the adultery. Please seek God diligently on this issue and search scriptures for yourself. Your soul is so precious. You are the one who will give account of your own life. So please don't just listen to me or anyone else. Go to the Bible with a humble and yielded heart and let God teach you.
If she knew a prayer was taking place, it's definitely not good to rebuke that person. If she thought you were talking disrespectfully, then that's fine. Not knowingly rebuking prayer! That's wicked.
Regarding divorce, please understand I am not making a judgement on your teaching, more simply sharing what I have learned. In the NIV, Geneva bible and Septuagint Apocrypha bible, they all read.. "if a Man hates and divorces his wife" They do not read "God hates divorce". The Geneva bible was directly translated from the original text, not side translated from another English version. So many modern translations have got it wrong. Matthew 19:9 actually gives certain reasons why you can divorce, so how can got hate divorce, it doesn't make sense. This is the NIV version... “The man who hates and divorces his wife,” says the LORD, the God of Israel, “does violence to the one he should protect,” says the LORD Almighty. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful.
Hello! From what we see in scripture, it is very clear that people can't get remarried after divorce. We hope you will take time to read all the verses listed and carefully pray about them as it is such an important issue. Here are some passages: 1. Paul said that they needed to remain single or be reconciled: "Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband. But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife." 1 Cor 7 : 10 - 11 2. Paul also said in 2 places that a woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives (so ONLY the physical death of her husband can release her from the marriage covenant in the eyes of God. Until one party dies, they are still "bound" in the covenant to each other according to scripture). a) "For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man." - Romans 7 : 2 - 3 b) "A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband dies, she is at liberty to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord." 1 Cor 7 : 39 (Some say that 1 Cor 7 : 15 means they are not "bound" under the covenant of marriage anymore if their unbelieving spouse departs but that is not true because it uses a completely different greek word than the one used to describe the bonds of marriage. That passage is just saying that they are not "enslaved" anymore (From Greek word douloó).) 3. Also, Jesus specifically and clearly said remarriage is adultery WITHOUT EXCEPTION in 3 different places. Once in Matthew, once in Mark, and once in Luke. a) The clear words of Jesus saying remarriage is ADULTERY: 'Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced from her husband commits adultery" -Luke 16 : 16 b) Another very clear record of Jesus calling remarriage ADULTERY: "So He said to them, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery." -Mark 10 : 11 - 12 c) In Matthew 5, Jesus SEEMS to allow for divorce IF there is adultery but He does NOT allow for remarriage. He still explicitly states that if someone marries a divorced woman, they commit adultery: “Furthermore it has been said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery." Matt 5 : 31 - 32 4. So now we have SIX clear verses in scripture showing remarriage if the spouse is still alive is not allowed and FOUR of those passages explicitly stating that remarriage is ADULTERY. The Bible says no adulterer will go to heaven (1 Cor 6 :9) so this is a heaven or hell issue and it is extremely dangerous for people to disregard the passeges or try to explain them away. ------------ 5. There is another main verse to look at though, it is in Matthew 19 :9 and it has been used to disregard the other 6 clear verses by some people. There is lots of debate on the translation of this verse as there is evidence that a word was added by Erasmus in the 1500s that effected the meaning of Matt19 : 9. The Greek of this passage is unclear and very, very debated. I believe the context still shows that remarriage is adultery. But the wording is hard to understand in the Greek so it can be translated in different ways: Here is the passage with some context: Matthew 19 "3The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?" 4 And He answered and said to them, "Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female,' 5 and said, 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'? 6 So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate." 7 They said to Him, "Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?" 8 He said to them, "Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. 9 And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery." 10 His disciples said to Him, "If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is better not to marry." 11 But He said to them, "All cannot accept this saying, but only those to whom it has been given: 12 For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it." So some argue that Jesus is saying remarriage is okay if there is adultery. But I definitely do not believe that because of the context and all the other passages saying the opposite. I think it was a translation error because the Greek can be translated either way and the Greek is hard to understand in this passage. Scholars have debated this issue for a long long time. So Matthew 19 : 9 is fuzzy and not clear. But the other 6 passages are not fuzzy, they are crystal clear. And when we have 6 witnesses saying one thing clearly and only one witness saying the opposite in a debated and fuzzy way, which one will we believe? This is extremely important because someone's eternal salvation could rest on this issue. So those 6 witnesses are more than enough for me to adamantly declare to someone that they can't get remarried Singleness is an incredible thing as states in 1 Corinthians 7 as the person can truly put their focus on the Lord. In the Old Testmanet, we find that God was always faithful to His adulterous and backsliding "bride" Israel. He never remarried another. He was faithful to her and always desired reconciliation. We must do the same as His people.
I do not agree w this because this would place those who are rape victims w pregnancy not able to ever remarry. This places them under judgement and not grace. According to Hebrew custom marriage could take place with or wo verbal vow. Jesus use of the words divorce, marry is simply talking about condemning fornication, involvement of sleeping around and as the pagan practice of fornication w many people was part of the greek pagan activities, public and widespread in that time. I will have to go with Dean on this one however I can see you have well highlighted verses. You have to understand the multiple facets of the culture during Jesus time and understand Hebrew roots. We see polygamy active in old Jewish history and also horrible sexual activity w multiple people at once as part of pagan worship. This was rampant in Jesus time. In the Greek period it was common pagan activity for married to participate in multi sexual activities. In Hebrew roots marriage is not just considered the " rite of confession " it is also considered to be the actual physical consummation. In Hebrew roots we see many circumstances where men and women married without the exchanging of vows. You also have to realize that the NT was originally written in Hebrew not Greek. The Hebrew texts were translated later into Greek for the purpose of being better understood by the Greek Gentile church. Original Hebrew contexts were lost when translated into the greek unless you could read the Hebrew as well. When Paul wrote the NT he wrote it in Aramaic hebrew and Hebrew has a much higher blend of shades of meaning than Greek. When the words of Jesus were penned they were penned by the disciples in Aramaic hebrew. So the saved Jews read the Hebrew gospels and the Gentile church studied the Greek texts. What happened to the Hebrew gospels...? Nothing they were simply eventually buried and hidden by the increasing ecumenical denominations such as the Catholic church and so on. The Hebrew writings were always there. Just eventually abandoned by the " white mans church " I say this because when Jesus was speaking of divorcing and remarrying he was simply talking about the pagan greek practice of having multiple physical relationships/i.e the practice of widespread fornication not the actual sacred sacrament of marriage. He used the word marriage in the Greek translation but he was actually speaking against fornication. When Paul said that the unmarried would be better if they remained single it was a suggestion not a command. Study the hebrew testaments it is the better translation. " but if they do marry they have not sinned " are the widows better to remarry then the ones who have been abandoned, raped or abused...?

A prophet is simply someone who speaks the voice or the word of the Lord. Prophesy simply means to preach. You are looking for something that is not in scripture. And women can prophesy or preach as well as long as they are in submission to the Holy Spirit as well as a man must be in the submission of the Holy Spirit. Old Testament Jewish roots forbade the interaction of women in temple activities. This has changed since the New covenant and Paul has said there is neither male nor female in the kingdom. Pauls instruction for women not to teach or speak but to be in submission was not a widespread restriction it was a exception problem in that particular church and is to be taken into context w that particular problem.

Hello!
From what we see in scripture, it is very clear that people can't get remarried after divorce. We hope you will take time to read all the verses listed and carefully pray about them as it is such an important issue.
Here are some passages:
1. Paul said that they needed to remain single or be reconciled:
"Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband. But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife." 1 Cor 7 : 10 - 11
So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man." - Romans 7 : 2 - 3
b) "A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband dies, she is at liberty to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord." 1 Cor 7 : 39
(Some say that 1 Cor 7 : 15 means they are not "bound" under the covenant of marriage anymore if their unbelieving spouse departs but that is not true because it uses a completely different greek word than the one used to describe the bonds of marriage.
That passage is just saying that they are not "enslaved" anymore (From Greek word douloó).)
3. Also, Jesus specifically and clearly said remarriage is adultery WITHOUT EXCEPTION in 3 different places. Once in Matthew, once in Mark, and once in Luke.
a) The clear words of Jesus saying remarriage is ADULTERY:
'Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced from her husband commits adultery"
-Luke 16 : 16
b) Another very clear record of Jesus calling remarriage ADULTERY:
"So He said to them, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery."
-Mark 10 : 11 - 12
c) In Matthew 5, Jesus SEEMS to allow for divorce IF there is adultery but He does NOT allow for remarriage. He still explicitly states that if someone marries a divorced woman, they commit adultery:
“Furthermore it has been said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery."
Matt 5 : 31 - 32
------------
But the wording is hard to understand in the Greek so it can be translated in different ways:
Here is the passage with some context:
Matthew 19
"3The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?" 4 And He answered and said to them, "Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female,' 5 and said, 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'? 6 So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate." 7 They said to Him, "Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?" 8 He said to them, "Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. 9 And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery." 10 His disciples said to Him, "If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is better not to marry." 11 But He said to them, "All cannot accept this saying, but only those to whom it has been given: 12 For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by
men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it."
So some argue that Jesus is saying remarriage is okay if there is adultery.
So those 6 witnesses are more than enough for me to adamantly declare to someone that they can't get remarried
Singleness is an incredible thing as states in 1 Corinthians 7 as the person can truly put their focus on the Lord.

Just eventually abandoned by the " white mans church "
I say this because when Jesus was speaking of divorcing and remarrying he was simply talking about the pagan greek practice of having multiple physical relationships/i.e the practice of widespread fornication not the actual sacred sacrament of marriage. He used the word marriage in the Greek translation but he was actually speaking against fornication.
When Paul said that the unmarried would be better if they remained single it was a suggestion not a command.
Study the hebrew testaments it is the better translation.
" but if they do marry they have not sinned "
are the widows better to remarry then the ones who have been abandoned, raped or abused...?
If u want to hear God read the Bible there are no more prophets. Guess u haven't read Hebrews 1
Jesus was the last speaking of God period i pray u find the truth.
Ephesians 4:
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Be careful of the unbelieving calvinists you entertain on TH-cam Many have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof, From such we Are called to turn away from.
