  • Today I am going to be showing you guys how to put up and take down the new Old bahama bay Tent. This is good for the beach, the park, or pretty much anywhere. It has vents and a good . amount of floor space inside the tent. But I wish it was a little taller as I have to watch my head when getting up and I am 12 years Old with my height 5" 6'. So stop reading and just watch. The song in this Video is Pina Colida by Escape in between 1:55-2:00

Sides first, top last from inside push up and done, I have this and tents with same mechanisms. Easy to pitch and easy to take down, when you take it down start with the top first and sides last. You can use a bungee cord to secure it and make it thinner before putting it in the bag, makes it easier. Hope this helps.

Wow thank you so much for sharing this video! It was easy peasy to assemble and let me tell you I am terrible at assembling anything and that speaks enough for itself how easy you made this for people to use this wonderful tent. I love it and am enjoying it now. Thanks again!!

Thank you! I was out here for 10 minutes and couldn’t figure it out. It doesn’t help that it was inside out. Watched your video and I had it up in 3 minutes.

THANK YOU!! Mine came inside out for some reason, and I was about ready to throw the thing in the trash I was so frustrated!! Once I realized I just needed to turn it right side out, it popped right into place!

How’d you get it from inside out? Mines like that out of the box ugh

And also make sure you have it so the corners are able to form the side you are trying to do

Thank you!!!! Got our pop up tent 2 years ago and never used it because I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to put it together. Would have been so nice a couple times at the beach. Mine came inside out! And I must have twisted it a time or two somewhere because it took me nearly am hour to get the thing up in my living room. Can't wait to use it tomorrow at the beach.

I'm thinking if I buy it.
I want to lie down and see the sea.
Is it possible to protect not only the face but also the legs from sunburn?

    • @reaganfarrell3739
      @reaganfarrell3739  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

You could try putting a towel over your legs. Or you could also Lay side to side.

This thing is a nightmare to collapse and expand. Especially when it's inside out fresh out of the box! The instructions were not very helpful. I think I'm going to take mine back to prevent a future stroke. Thanks for this video; it was very helpful bro!

It's not bad once you get the hang of it (and not store it inside out). I'm glad to see so many others had an issue with this thing. Once I saw this video and saw that the little round things needed to be pushed out it all made sense. They could have included like a one page picture or something.

It doesnt work at the beach cuz of wind and the sand being too loose

All you need is some decent stakes

Put some big rocks in the tents to hold it.

Hi Brian. i am the sales person for the factory. a few points.. the Costco unit does not come with sand bags. but you can use them. The pop up comes with 6 metal stakes.
4 of them go into each corner. but also notice on the 3 sides, that they have rope. use the Rope to add extra stability, by attaching them to the extra stakes. Lastly, we make the assumption that you will be putting fun stuff in your OBB Pop up, such as a cooler, chairs, day bag etc. unless you are in a high wind zone, you should be fine. We test to 20 MPH and they hold up well.

@@pgoff0000 Thanks! I am going to try out this week at beach. Since you work at the factory, is there any way these could be boxed and shipped in the right direction instead of inside out? If it had not been us watching this video, we would have returned ours along with the others in the comments.

@@pgoff0000 Hello Paul. We bought the Old Bahama Tent and it got all twisted up at the beach with wind so we removed the poles from the pockets in the corners where they insert just so we could fold it and take it home with us. Question: How do we reinsert the poles ?

  • @promiseillbenice8526

It sucks. I used it at the beach, kept getting blown away. The stakes don't stay in the sand at all. What a waste of time and money

Return it - too complicated and useless in the wind.
