Sezane literally went to Mexico, took photos of the native people, paid them 10 USD and went ahead and did knock offs of the native clothing, not giving credit to the authors nor paying for it. In other words, they are like Zara that wanted to patent Mexican embroidery patterns that had existed for years. I get colonizer vibes.
@Sophia Denison-Johnston you could probably find small native owned businesses that ship to the US. If you have the money, there's actually a lot of designers who sell pieces with traditional embroidery. But honestly the best you can do is buy local when you visit Mexico. Go to a local market or street stands. If you can, as a tourist, never haggle. Pay full price as their work is often not appreciated and devalued.
They not only did that, they paid a local indigenous Zapotec elderly woman to dance for them in the brand's clothes while they filmed her, for like 10 us dollars. 10 us dollars. They faced so much backlash they had to cancel the campaign. The Oaxacas state has since passed legislation to stop international brands to exploit and steal indigenous designs. Capitalistic colonization for sure.

yes! I was watching and thinking that most of these brands are not very... cool in the sense they don't have much personality 😅 I adore vivienne westwood
In all honest Brandy Melville as a company doesn’t surprise me. I feel the reason they are so popular is because they create this more affordable exclusivity you would only really expect from expensive designer fashion that is deliberately made to flatter solely women who are tall and thin, but more particularly borderline underweight. They have an incredibly similar standard to luxury fashion houses-it being an unspoken rule that the models all have to look a certain way to fit the clothes. I think they were saying the quiet part many fashion houses who have maybe one single plus size model in a show refuse to say aloud.
I do think a lot of this is valid criticism, I will, however, always stick up for naturally petite people like myself who feel that same exclusivity when they don't fit into "adult" or even "junior" oriented brands. I'm absolutely not saying that Brandy's lack of sizing isn't a business tactic to sell exclusivity. Still, for me personally, it can feel like the only place where clothes are made specifically for people my size. Far too often, in my opinion, the body-positive movement only focuses on gaining acceptance of larger bodies, even to the extent of vilifying smaller-than-average ones. There's so much damaging rhetoric on both sides of the aisle, and it can feel like it strips petite women of their womanhood. Ideas of "real women have curves" and "no healthy woman can fit in Brandy" really devalue smaller bodies. In the 12 years since I stopped growing, I have had the unfortunate message drilled into me that when I don't fit into the smallest size of women's clothing, it makes me not a woman. For all of its faults, Brandy Melville helped fill that gap in the market.
@@ameliaboivin6267 I understand. I think petite brands are needed for people who for any reason can’t fit into standard clothing. I feel if people made more things like Torrid and Brandy, that would be ok. If more brands like them existed, they’d be much less exclusive to the public. If they focused on a particular size and were transparent about it, they could spend more time making quality clothing for their target audience. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with making clothes tailored for people who are skinny and petite, but fashion houses obviously profit off of that by making clothing for them incredibly expensive. their main goal is exclusivity at all costs, not reaching out to a broad audience like brandy.
I totally get your point and I do wish Brandy had sizes; however I wear a size 10-12 usually and I have to buy large shirts usually because my arms don’t fit in shirts that usually fit the rest of my body, and for some reason the brandy one size shirts fit me so well. My sisters are small like size 0-2 and me and them can wear the same shirts when we can’t anywhere else and it really shocks me. I have a brandy shirt from like 6 years ago and it still fits me so well even tho I gained weight. Idk what kind of magic it is lol
@@ameliaboivin6267 I just wish they leaned more into being a petite dedicated store like still offering small sizes but at least with many different cuts or something like cater to the petite demographic more, kind of similar to Torrid where they still have multiple offerings of things. Petite Studios is a dedicated petite brand, obviously not exactly the same as Brandy with the clothing trends, but they focus on all petites of different sizes and needs (loads of info of measurements on each piece with sizing). Yes some of Brandy's clothes do stretch like I mentioned, but there's tops that don't so why not add more than one size to help *ALL* petite's or even different chest sizes of petites. I think people would be way less angry if Brandy marketed themselves to fill the difficulty of petite bodies versus only wanting "certain" bodies to be in their clothing due to fat phobia (why Abercrombie had their original downfall and had to rebrand). They don't even have an about section on their website detailing that their goal is to offer petite bodies clothing that fits them because they know how hard that can be. Obviously there's more layers to Brandy though like alleged racism and other controversies. I recently ordered from free people and the quailing was awful! The seams were loose and the sewing was uneven. Material was paper thin too. It was 100$ matching set. Awful
Aritzia is a big mix. Some of their things are well made and fit really beautifully despite the simplicity but others are just wildly priced for nothing special. And totally agree about the sustainability thing, if they wanted to they could
Most of the clothing in my wardrobe that I’ve had the longest is from Aritzia; the majority was bought years ago and I have pieces that look brand new after a decade. One other thing about them is that while they do sell some very trendy clothing, A lot of their styles outlast many trend cycles without necessarily being stereotypically “timeless.” The reason I haven’t shopped from them in a couple of years is the inconsistent quality and the rapidly increasing prices. My shares in Aritzia are doing great though.
A dress rental company near me has a few selkie dresses that I've tried on and honestly I've never been to impressed with the quality. The fabric is thin and sheer and even uncomfortable, because it polyester too it clings onto any BO which is not great if you are wearing it to an event! So I'd say not worth the hype
Recently, I went into an Urban Outfitters just to check it out as I hadn't been to one in years. I was obsessed with them in high school and they were THE "alternative" and "edgy" store (besides American Apparel)- at least for suburbanites who didn't have easy access to thrifting. I don't know if it's just because my tastes have changed or I no longer like the styles they carry, but it doesn't seem to have the same indie ethos as prior. It's all very popular styles now. Maybe it was always popular and was marketed differently then, though? Anyway I completely agree that the quality is terrible. It's fast fashion but just at a higher price tag than Shein and H&M.
Urban Outfitters def was cuter like 10 years ago 😅 I don’t think it was rose colored glasses at all. That’s not to say that the brand itself was great bc they def had their issues, but the style itself was so much better and felt more authentic.
This was fun, thanks Alexa!! If in the future you do a video about sustainable companies/brands I’d love to see your thoughts about Madewell, Everlane, and Veja
i’m interested to see where i am gia would rank on this list! i feel like people were really loving the brand when the y2k aesthetic took off and also euphoria lol
For a long time I was not convinced on Aritzia, but I recently ordered a few pieces from them and I am obsessed! My style is ultra feminine so I never bothered with a lot of the trendier pieces like those leather pants you showed (super cute just not my personal style!) but the quality of their basics is really nice in my experience. Also as a 4’11” girlie I really appreciate that they carry a lot of things in petite sizes. Their stuff is unfortunately pretty pricey but so far I’ve gotten a ton of use out of the things I purchased! I also am a huge lover of Abercrombie, FL&L, Reformation, and House of CB but I’ve definitely had hits and misses from all of them.
I think there’s usually a difference in customer perceived quality and actual quality based on a garments construction and raw materials that sways peoples opinions. I see this a lot in the discourse about realisation par dresses and personally everything I own from them drapes well and is sewn beautifully ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just something to consider! Thicker doesn’t always mean better quality. I work in apparel manufacturing and sometimes all we do is make a fabric a gauge thicker to increase perceived quality but the the polyester we’re using remains the same
For Love and Lemons is worth the hype in my opinion, I have the cutest bustier top from them and the way peoples faces light up when I walk by in that top 😄✨makes my day! Have a few bras from them too. I feel like the quality is very nice.
I agree - plus they have a "SDD" size which means that small girls with bigger busts (like me!) can finally FINALLY buy slips, bustiers and teddies without popping out of them. For most of my life I wasn't ever able to buy cute lingerie because it never fit my chest but with the SDD size at FLAL, I can finally buy cute lingerie that actually fits. Plus all the tops I have bought by them are amazing quality and garner loads of compliments :)
So glad someone agrees on realisation par- even seeing the quality in person is shocking! Definitely wouldn't spend full price on it especially when the pieces I've seen are super thin with no lining!
Thank you for being honest about Lisa Says Gah! I was obsessed with them in 2020-21 but every piece i bought was poor quality. I bought a dress for around $150 that fell apart after a few wears.
When UO first came out I was in high school and loved their gifts. They’ve never been size inclusive though. They officially lost me years ago after coming out with a Kent State (school that had a mass pew pew-ing) that looked like it had bl00d splattered all over it, and featured a shirt that said “eat less.”
i have a huge unif collection (mostly older items and secondhand) and have loved their designs for over 10 years but i had to stop supporting them a few years ago for several reasons. They have never been sustainable, and have have always provided very little information on their sourcing and labor practices. They also stole photoshoot concepts/artwork from a POC creator and have had their comments limited on insta since covid started bc they won’t address anything lol. Just super shady and disappointing all around. Also they aren’t upfront about copying vintage designs at all
Yeah I definitely only appreciate them for their aesthetic (which is basically copying vintage designs) and would only ever buy their pieces secondhand.
There are a few brands I know, and some of them I’ve never heard of! And after hearing you talk through them all, I loved how you ranked them! Especially the “It’s a crime that it exists” category 😂 agreed. There are so many more brands to talk about though, it’s crazy 🤯
As a Canadian, especially living in vancouver where aritzia originated, its extrememly popular, pretty good quality, but personally when certain pieces, especially when its made form plastic and not natural materials, I do not feel as though the price tag accuratly reflects what your getting sometimes. But, living in Canada, ordering from brands internationally is usually even more expensive because of the currency exchange (CAD $ is soo bad) and then on top of that customs and tax. I do think they made good basics though and good denim brands and I do buy from them every few months, recently i've been loving Depop.
There's an Australian brand called Princess Highway. It has the most amazing vintage 1960s and 70s inspired designs but I wish they were a little more sustainable. But definitely worth taking a look
Agree 100% about Aritzia! The only thing I will give them credit for is that they make pieces that are really good if you work in an office/corporate environment. Is it worth the price tag? No. I own a couple Aritzia/Wilfred items and I bought them secondhand - I definitely wouldn't spend full price on basics!!
You said mui mui right. They’ve never been preppy… but o can see why with these photos it may seem that way. It’s the little sister line of Prada, as I’m sure you know! I totally agree with all of these rankings!
I dont buy from anywhere new except Aritzia. I’ve never had a problem with their quality. Its overpriced but oh my god. The pieces are beautiful. I don’t wear any other socks besides the TNA ones and their jumpsuits and leggings are GORGEOUS. I also thrifted a Babaton cashmere sweater and its one of the most luxurious items I own (I dont really support cashmere production, but I will buy it second hand). Also Aritzia does their browns like no one else. Almost all the brown items I own are from Aritzia either thrifted or bought new. I wouldn’t recommend buying just because its so expensive, but the quality in my opinion is worth it. If you see any of the Aritzia brands at the thrift, snag them!
the rating on miu miu was insaneeee but also I have a lot of respect for Alexa for actually criticizing them, even if I disagree. It was an odd choice to include them in this video though when they’re like high high designer though
Lot's of people were mentioning them so I figured since I've seen even just non influencers talk about them on tiktok that I'd just include them! I think their brand identity is great like they have great aesthetics, but just not a fan (for my personal style of course)!
@@alexasunshine83h okay I see, that’s interesting then. Is there a reason you didn’t then include like a Vivianne Westwood as they as also designer and very it girly? I realize at a point the video might get too long though. And like I said I do respect you not being obsessed with them and being a sheep like I am 😂
Also unrelated, couldn’t agree more about Urban. It’s totally just better shein. It used to be actually such cute stuff. I cannot shop there anymore. I have very old stuff from them in my closet still though
I chose miu miu over vivianne in this video just because I think they’ve been more trendy just with some “it girl” influencers recently (not saying vivianne isn’t but the video was getting way too long so I had to leave brands out). I’d love to include them in maybe a part 2 though because I do have many thoughts especially as a Nana lover! ❤️
I love aritzia and brandy, the ONLY brands that fit my 22-23 inch waist and 4’11 height. They’re incredible. Aritzia’s “short 3XS” is a fucking GOD SEND rare size and although brandy Melville is technically too big for me, I love how some of their stuff still looks cute as lounge wear
ok yes im glad someone is saying lisa says gah is like meh. Bc every piece I've bought from them or secondhand from depop has gotten damaged pretty easily and they really rely heavily on polyester
I love Heaven by Marc Jacobs. I have splurged on some items from them and the quality is top notch. Yes they are pricey, but to me it is worth the price.
I agree with everything you said about LSG! I’ve always wanted to purchase something from them but felt it was too expensive for me to purchase a single item and recently I got blessed and found a top from them at the thrift in my size too! I searched it up and it’s from a collection from two years ago. And once I actually wore it and got over the biased that it’s good just because of what brand it is, I realized I don’t like it and it honestly felt like something I’d get from target for $18 :/ so overall glad I never but the bullet and naught something new from them lol
My question is- how good quality can a baby tee even be? I don’t understand what makes some brands t-shirts worth $80 and some worth $8 (aside from sustainability, but even then it smells fishy to me) 😅
Lisa says gah was such a disappointment for me too. They advertise ethical practices and high quality, and the pieces are pretty but I got a top from them that has cheaply finished seams and it broke almost immediately. It's still technically wearable, but it makes me so sad that they essentially advertise themselves so falsely.
I think for abercrombie, the "it girl" thing is vintage abercrombie like the babydolls, lace camis, mini skirts, and cargo pants. The prices for that stuff on depop and the second hand sites are crazzyy high I say this as someone who frequently hunts for said pieces haha
I bought two items from reformation.. and it was a big deal for me as I was coming out of being a teenage gremlin and mostly shopped second hand. The jeans I got are so nice and are my favorite. The dresses I've had, one I bought directly and another I got second hand do not fit me as a shorter person. The other I got second hand and it also just didn't look right on my body.
This was really interesting! We don’t have a lot of these brands in the U.K. or in Korea (where I live) but there’s TONNES of brands with similar concepts and sustainability issues… seems like a global ‘issue’🥲🥲
I like aritzia BUT imo the quality is honestly horrible for the price. You get clothes that are nicely designed and fit well if you want a basic piece, but I feel like if you have one of their pieces in heavy rotation it does start to degrade pretty quickly. Especially their TNA line
I love this video so much! I have thoughts on this topic too if I might share. White Fox do not offer refunds. I would not have bought from them if I had known. I wanted to return a terribly fitting top and they only offer store credit. Thankfully I only bought one item so I didn't throw away a lot of money. Shame the top is poorly fitting, itchy, polyester rubbish. Their customer service is also rubbish. House of CB is so weirdly fitting and their mini dresses are way too short. They replied to complaints on the shortness by saying, "The model is five nine and it fits her." But the thing is it was way too short on the model too lol. Djerf Avenue is totally overpriced masculine basics but their bedding is divine! Absolutely stunning, and Matilda has a great vibe so I get why people love her. Selkie is way too much money for what are mostly polyester dresses. Their "sexy baby" aesthetic is super duper unflattering on most body types too, but absolutely stunning on the few bodies it fits. With Jean is lovely when it leans into its pastoral French vibe, but its sizing is deeply inconsistent. I have an XS dress from them and I have not been XS since I was 13. Thankfully returning to them is super easy and they offer refunds unlike White Fox.
listen..... djerf avenue literally sells those accountant shirts that you can buy for $1 in the mens section of ANY thrift store for over $100.... if that's not "extremely overrated" material than idk what is...
I almost bought a selkie dress because I go to Disney a lot and everyone wears them but like I saw polyester and was like yeah no. Your skin can’t even breathe in polyester and I’ll buy it secondhand but I’m not paying that money for those kinds of clothes. But also now EVERYONE wears them so a point where I’m like bored with them.
NOOOO don't feel that way!!! It just doesn't fully align with my own personal style, but I'm sure if you asked anyone sezane versus unif they would definitely choose sezane so definitely don't take it to heart! 😅❤️
@@alexasunshine83 yes absolutely! We all have our own investment pieces/brands! I love your personal style! I aspire to be more fun with my clothing… but I’ve accepted that I’m being more sustainable (in my own wardrobe) by recognizing what I will actually wear for more than a season! 😅
@@TheChavert Unfortunately, I had no luck with Sezane pieces. Jeans wore off super quickly and the fabric became even see trough, t-shirts got holes and didn't even last one season despite good care and most cuts are just for naturals or classic body types anyway. I loved it initially, but not anymore.
What is an “it girl”? I’ve never heard of or seen half these brands and I live in NYC. I’m not into social media, so I’m totally curious what does it mean?
Your hair is cute. It looks healthy and shiny. And leather or faux leather pants don't breathe and would be uncomfortable in Southern California weather
I love the brand Son De Flor which is totally not an IT girl brand haha. Their culture is just so lovely. They don’t have all the certifications for sustainability that I would like but I’ve chosen to give them a little faith in humanity. They also just extended their sizes too!
For sure, I was just mainly talking about the ones they specifically own and as a whole, but they do offer (similar almost to a luxury version of ASOS haha) many different brands!
Thank you for calling out brands on their limited range of sizes. Even junior ages can be a larger size. A thought that’s gone through my head is that producing sustainable fashion can include taking those XXS that just sit on the racks and thrift flipping them into real human sizes.
@@444tz technically true, but the manufactures don’t produce selection in the full range of sizes in the appropriate numbers, do they? There just aren’t that many people in really tiny sizes, and the clothing made for them gathers dust on the sale racks. Meanwhile the larger sizes walk out of the stores still holding their money. Clothing manufacturers really should be smarter about business.
I'm demoting Selkie to overrated since they allegedly copied the small business Breeoriginal's kiss dress. *SO Baggu is the only real IT GIRL brand* 😅

I could only do so many 😭 but maybe I'll do another with all the rest of the it girl brands that were submitted!
@@alexasunshine83 Please make a part 2, this format is super interesting!
@@alexasunshine83maybe include love shack fancy if you do part two!
I work in apparel manufacturing and sometimes all we do is make a fabric a gauge thicker to increase perceived quality but the the polyester we’re using remains the same
Lisa says gah is worth the hype, mostly in the jewellery department
Her words didn't match her rating
this video confirms how not trendy I am as I didn’t know most of the brands 😂 oh well it was a nice educational video for me then
Would love for you to do this again and include the brand Spell!
UO and Free People have some cute pieces but they’d be so much cuter if the CEO and cofounder wasn’t absolutely trash
Still can't get over this hair look on you!
love the quality of aritzia and abercrombie! abercrombie jeans and shorts are a big slay
That silk and cotton blend dress is so frothy and delicious. I'd get married in something like that if I was a cool girl lol
I'm going to have to use that in my product descriptions... "vintage 90s top, frothy and delicious" 😂🙌🏼
So glad someone agrees on realisation par- even seeing the quality in person is shocking! Definitely wouldn't spend full price on it especially when the pieces I've seen are super thin with no lining!
and drop-shipped directly from china
oh i thought urban outfitters was basically forever 21, definitely fast fashion
Thank you for being honest about Lisa Says Gah! I was obsessed with them in 2020-21 but every piece i bought was poor quality. I bought a dress for around $150 that fell apart after a few wears.
I work at a resale store and everytime I get we get it in the quality is SO bad..like worse than Zara or any other brand
I used to want a selkie SOOOOO BADDDD 3:41
My freshman year of college i said i was gonna get a selkie dress for my graduation but then i just ended up wearing a thrifted dress 🤭
Is brandy melville still an "it" brand? I mean, it's been around since 1970, but I remember it being super popular around 2012-2014.
This hair length suits you so so much! 🌷🩷
oh gosh thank you ☺❤
You said mui mui right. They’ve never been preppy… but o can see why with these photos it may seem that way. It’s the little sister line of Prada, as I’m sure you know! I totally agree with all of these rankings!
@@amandak.4246 I think you know that’s what I meant.
Always look forward to Sunday for your videos!
Would love to hear your thoughts on higher priced athletic wear. Lululemon, athletica, gym shark
the rating on miu miu was insaneeee but also I have a lot of respect for Alexa for actually criticizing them, even if I disagree.
@@alexasunshine83 would love a pt 2!
I love this video... great analysis as usual! Some of these brands do need to be taken down a notch!
For Love & Lemons has worked really well in style, fit, ulta wardrobe workable for me.
ok yes im glad someone is saying lisa says gah is like meh.
*grabs popcorn* 🍿
🤭💘
Oh brandy Melville. I love the jr brand excuse ppl give in defence of their lack of inclusive sizing. Like plus size Jr age ppl don’t exist. 😅
My question is- how good quality can a baby tee even be? I don’t understand what makes some brands t-shirts worth $80 and some worth $8 (aside from sustainability, but even then it smells fishy to me) 😅
You'd be surprised how different the quality can be! I have 4 white baby tees (different brands) and they have veeeery different quality its crazy!
@@alexasunshine83 That's actually really interesting!! Thanks for responding :)
Baggu for life! The quality is elite
I have to talk myself out of buying the platform cowboy boots everyday 😅
The fact that I was trying to convince myself to spend over $500 on those boots when I definitely wouldn’t even be able to walk in them 😂
Lisa says gah was such a disappointment for me too. They advertise ethical practices and high quality, and the pieces are pretty but I got a top from them that has cheaply finished seams and it broke almost immediately. It's still technically wearable, but it makes me so sad that they essentially advertise themselves so falsely.
omg this is such a fun idea ! u could do this video w thrift stores as well 👀
I think Rouje is also a it girl brand
I love these types of videos from you because I ALWAYS agree!!
I think for abercrombie, the "it girl" thing is vintage abercrombie like the babydolls, lace camis, mini skirts, and cargo pants. The prices for that stuff on depop and the second hand sites are crazzyy high
I say this as someone who frequently hunts for said pieces haha
Love your tier list videos. Go off!
Selkie seems like the Disney Princess Couture Collection. I can see how that might be a positive for some people, though!
It’s always sunny here 🌻
I love this video so much! Thankfully returning to them is super easy and they offer refunds unlike White Fox.
listen..... djerf avenue literally sells those accountant shirts that you can buy for $1 in the mens section of ANY thrift store for over $100.... if that's not "extremely overrated" material than idk what is...
i LOVE your overalls 💕💕
i’m surprised omighty didn’t make the list but maybe i’m behind the times lol
I had it on my list, but the video was getting so long 😭 definition if I do a part 2 because I have some thoughts 👀
Hi Alexa happy Sunday morning and I hope you having amazing day today and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
Not here to join in on the tea but just to tell you your new hair looks SO CUTE ❤😊
Yeah, I like this ruthless Alexa!
Your haircut is sooo cute!!!
unif is amazing, they are ethical and family owned iirc, most of the models are also family (: !
The only thing I’ll pay full price for at aritzia are the sweatsuits
The Sezane yawn has never made me feel more boring. I love the casual feminine vibes. When clothes are too busy, I never reach for them. 😂
Sézane is great quality for the price though so you shouldn't feel bad
@@laurensanders3486 Love that ❤🙌🏻
@@TheChavert Unfortunately, I had no luck with Sezane pieces. Jeans wore off super quickly and the fabric became even see trough, t-shirts got holes and didn't even last one season despite good care and most cuts are just for naturals or classic body types anyway. I loved it initially, but not anymore.
The tier list is supposed to be in rainbow order. So if you see bigger tier lists, they have blue and purple and pink at the bottom
Aritzia is amazing. They sell the Super Puff coat which is top quality and top quality sweats and hoodies. They are expensive but amazing.
aritzia has great quality pieces so it’s my go to for work basics and that’s the only thing saving it for me LOL
Love this video concept
What is an “it girl”? I’ve never heard of or seen half these brands and I live in NYC. I’m not into social media, so I’m totally curious what does it mean?
Why was there goats 😂😂😂😂
Still have no idea 😂😂 but hey I guess it worked since I now know about them haha
unif just gives off a vibe of parents money if that makes sense
i absolutely loved seeing u be harsh!!! lmao
I’ve been so stressed about it because I’m so not use to it 😅
@@alexasunshine83 lol no i loved it!! sometimes i feel like you get too nervous about giving ur opinion but i watch ur channel to hear UR opinion!! ❤️
unif use to have good quality but since 3 years the quality is so shitty
where are your overalls from?
UNIF is a fast fashion brand and also doesn't disclose how they source materials, working conditions etc clearly unfortunately
I love this 💕💕💕💕
Ugh, Brandy Melville. So problematic.
What brand is the pink and white satin top in the thumbnail?
With Jéan!
Your hair is cute. It looks healthy and shiny. And leather or faux leather pants don't breathe and would be uncomfortable in Southern California weather
I like some of these brands clothes but 90% of them don't even have clothes in my size so I can't buy their clothes anyway
Your hair looks so good ahh
yeah i think we have very different taste but it was interesting nonetheless since i don't pay attention to fashion influencers at all !
haha all good! everyones personal style is so different with what they like and don't like!
@@alexasunshine83 of course :D I just died a little when you said miu miu is overrated lmaoo I would die for their bags !
I love the brand Son De Flor which is totally not an IT girl brand haha. Their culture is just so lovely. They don’t have all the certifications for sustainability that I would like but I’ve chosen to give them a little faith in humanity. They also just extended their sizes too!
Aritizia has sustainable brands
For sure, I was just mainly talking about the ones they specifically own and as a whole, but they do offer (similar almost to a luxury version of ASOS haha) many different brands!
Selkie is performative. Love your reviews though
Thank you for calling out brands on their limited range of sizes. Even junior ages can be a larger size.
A thought that’s gone through my head is that producing sustainable fashion can include taking those XXS that just sit on the racks and thrift flipping them into real human sizes.
inclusivity is also including side XXS lmfao
@@444tz technically true, but the manufactures don’t produce selection in the full range of sizes in the appropriate numbers, do they? There just aren’t that many people in really tiny sizes, and the clothing made for them gathers dust on the sale racks. Meanwhile the larger sizes walk out of the stores still holding their money. Clothing manufacturers really should be smarter about business.
@@christinamann3640 yes that’s true as well, there should be equal amounts of sizes
I find it hilarious that i love watching you but i have only heard of 3 of these brands lol
Isn’t your gingham mini dress from reformation?
The black and white one? It’s originally LuLus!
