KHDK Dark Blood Distortion Pedal Review

Here's one of my favorite pedals ever. The KHDK Dark Blood Distortion pedal. Sounds amazing, has lots of adjustability, lot's of volume potential, and a built in noise gate. This review I mic'ed up the cab with an SM57. If you like heavy yet controlled crunch, this is the pedal for you.

Can I use the khdk dark blood distorsion in the red crunch or blue lead channel to boost my distortion of my evh 5150 amp Or I must first reduce the gain of my amp to have a clean distortion sound without noise
