yeah I remember SVR 2011 if you injured a certain part of the opponents body enough they were weaker. For example if you injured the opponents legs enough they fell over when running.

I’m honestly okay with create a finisher not being back cause for whatever reason idk if it was the game code or a bug itself but Created finishers were registering as signatures, that’s why people were having to hit the finisher 2-3 times in a match at times
One thing I want is submission finishers to be better. For instance, if you put the ankle lock on it’s hard to submit them if they don’t have leg damage done.
Better to have it be depending on what choices you make. Kiss ass and get the last placement or defy authority and get the first spot. Face or heel .Etc
It’s a shame we can only have 3 matches on a card with GM Mode though, it would’ve been nice if we had the option to have up to 5 matches on a card. It just makes it look like this was a afterthought that was only included because it was highly requested and they could get the much needed game sales from including it.
I'm not getting my hope's up for this game. I have a feeling that 2k is going out of their way to say how good this game is to shift the narrative in their favor. We're only 2 months away from release - it's time we get full match gameplay videos along with full descriptions of what each mode is, does and details of everything! Like I just found out MyFaction is suppose to be a card mode similar to Madden Ultimate Team / NBA 2K MyLeague / MLB Diamond Dynasty modes. So the cards should be interesting - Especially if they can include accurate attires for say Cena when he debuted or Taker with different OVRs for different eras - Ministry Taker could be a 92 while Biker Taker could be an 88 for example. Should be pretty exciting.

Brian Mazique is smart as hell, major props to him for asking profound questions, because to answer an excellent he asked question, I don't think most fans even know nor even understand what they want... For years, they seem to want QUANTITY over QUALITY and wonder why they got a bunch of trash, that's why I appreciate WWE 2K for keeping QUALITY over QUANTITY. However. I think it's hilarious, I've been trying to tell people for years, we have Universe Mode, where you can literally control everything (all rosters, all championships, all shows, all year, etc.), why do they insist on crying for LIMITATIONS, as Jinks just said, in GM Mode? The logic behind that NEVER made any sense to me, but here's hoping some variation of MyGM pacifies the nonsensical whining. Hmm, interesting... "SPECTATE" exclusive to MyGM seems about as close as we're gonna get to Special Guest Referee features, which I think is AWESOME... Because I'm no fan of GM Mode, because I prefer more in-ring action, thought Universe Mode is better, and thought GM Mode is better suited as a mobile app... But with this "SPECTATE" feature, I imagine if they really went in-depth with it, the action should be continous as we roam varying camera angles throughout the arena... THAT is just crazy to think about, and allow us to interfere, distract the referee, or not... THAT is awesome, I'm no fan of GM Mode, but I would actually indulge in MyGM if that's the case... However, I wonder just like how they allow us to save the same things through multiple modes at the same time, will they allow us to reflect and save what goes on in MyGM and Universe/Superstar Mode at the same time? Or as Jinks said, it's a completely separate thing? Furthermore, it's like everything is improving, I actually appreciate we have option to control everything in Universe Mode as we've been doing, but I guess you could turn it into a Career Mode that tracks your chosen superstar record and storyline... Gotta say, that's pretty damn AWESOME! I didn't know what the other TH-camrs were talking, when they said you can choose one superstar for Universe Mode... Like, why the hell would I want that, while we can control everything in Universe Mode now? Clearly, a misunderstanding, but I dig it, if Universe Mode can alternate to a Career Mode that you can also alternate among superstars... Gotta say, I've kinda been doing that now, unless this potential Career Mode within Universe Mode is somehow more deliberate with W-L record. Again, thank you, Brian Mazique!✌😁
I've never understood everyones desire to bring gm mode back either. They should've just changed the name of universe mode to gm mode and focused on something worthwhile. Create a story would've been a much better addition than a watered down version of universe mode
There needs to be a demo before the game comes out. After WWE 2K20, Battlegrounds, and deactivating the online features in other WWE 2K games have left me with little faith in 2K. And the NWO bundle I feel that wasn't necessary given the NWO have been in a lot of the games and they weren't dlcs. I know it sounds like I'm griping but I just don't want to be screwed over again.

The one thing that's intriguing to me is the controlling setup. Given that the game has the default controller setup. I wonder if the alternate controller commands includes the No Mercy and HCTP setup 🤔
I agree WWE 2K20 was bad but I do still play it, only for "updated roster at the time of release" and a few decent bits and unlike most people I will never give up on WWE Games just because one is bad doesn't mean they all are, however I will wait a couple months before buying WWE 2k22 just in case

I remember when WWE 2k15 was first installment for ps4/xbox one looked amazing, much like NBA 2k14 (still looks great), then over the years they gradually downgraded. This is what the new WWE/NBA 2k on next gen reminds me of. Hopefully it won't end up slowly downgrading from here
All I really want to see is a few things one, road to wrestlemania, Two, limb damage if your attacking a arm or leg i like to see over time them limping or holding there arm from the pain. Three, make matches where you can take the fight any where like they use to have back in the n64 days where you take them from the ring to back stage areas. Four, Promos where they give u options on what you want to say to your opponents. Five, bustable wepons Six, creating rivalries and friends with other wwe superstars Seven, fighting in the crowds of people maybe as a finisher is popping up some the people in the crowd will help u by either holding on to the opponent or hand you wepons to use Eight, letting you decide how your going to interact with other wwe superstars are you going to be friendly and make friends with some of them or make rivalries out of others where u don't know if they will come up and attack you out of no where and vise versus with you doing the same to them 🤔
Well, the button-mashing concerns me, hopefully there's an option to alternate between the button-mashing and the timing-system.. At least with the timing-system, there's a fighting chance to actually comeback.. Late in the match it's not certain, sometimes I miss that little green mark, but when I do hit that little green mark, it's just a great feeling that you can get back into the match, and you're telling me that's gone? For sweaty button-mashing, where if you just take a certain amount of damage, there's nothing you can do, you're just done? I sincerely hope not, but allow us to pick whether we want button-mashing or the timing-system..🙁 So, they are actually trying to turn it into a fighting game, while we've experienced back in the 90's, Acclaim's WWF War Zone and Attitude had specific button combinations per superstar you had to memorize, and that righteously bombed... So, I'm really wondering, WTF are we doing here? We're trying to turn a wrestling game into a fighting game, again? Is WWE 2K22 really trying to step into the realm of Mortal Kombat? I'm just not too certain about that.. I love the competition in Mortal Kombat, but fighting games is one of the more difficult gaming genres, if you're heading in that direction... Knew something was off, having 2 buttons for LIGHT and HEAVY ATTACKS..😒 However, it is a good idea removing Reversal Limits, I played with Reversal Limits and thought it was too much of a restriction when we have Major Reversals that leaves you vulnerable for a certain amount of time... If I were to pick one, yeah, Major Reversals is like your reward to beat up the opponent for achieving such counter, then we don't need Reversal Limits... So, good riddance to that!✌😁

Why is create a story mode not sellable to include in the game? I really miss it - I enjoyed creating and branching stories - and how integrated each of them to come out with multiple outcomes - it was so much fun to have multiple endings for a story I started with the Miz and ended up with other characters depending on choices made!!!!
Well the undertaker showcase of every wrestlemania opponent can add many interesting wrestlemania arena (from 3-23), undertaker outfits, wrestlers (retro orton, Jake Roberts, Diesel, CM Punk, RA: HHH, RA: Shawn Michaels, Mark Henry, Masked Kane/Bald Kane, retro Edge, retro batista, etc that i forgot). With all of these, this is a DLC worth as Deluxe editions. From golden age to PG era.
I really wish they'd put a lot of effort into realistic clothing physics. T shirts are either painted on or look like they don't touch the wrestlers skin at all. The Kevin Owens, and macho man screen shots upset me, you can tell it's the same as before

Was about to comment that the thumbnail was clickbait till I saw the in game Cena screenshot, that looked incredibly real especially in the small thumbnail
I hope they fixed all the glitches and make the bleeding more realistic. When I make an opponent bleed after turning the setting on, it won’t start to cover their face until after I do a move to cause a replay. I hope the graphics are really what they portray to be as well, we’ve seen previous games from WWE to have graphics in commercials that don’t really exist in the game for real. We’ve seen that since the PS2 days. I just hope there’s a better roster, better graphics, and no glitches.
What I want more than anything is constant accuracy to where when you connect to live of psn or whatever, the roster is current to that specific time with their looks and music included.
I know this may be a huge demand on 2K but I think that would give more life to the game, is making multiple entry and exit for each character, so each time you load a match you never know what the combinaison will be. And maybe a second point, add Random feature in exhibitions match, 1 in a 10 match if you fight one guy of a duo, the other one can suprisingly show up to beat your ass. I know that the career mode will do that, but if it was implamented in the exhibition section of the game, I'm pretty sure we would play a lot more on this game. That is just my opinion. Maybe I'm just a dreamer.

Community creations saved this series a lot 2k19 had no DX attires we had to download them it’s almost like free dlc
The new controls seems like a mix up of SVR 2006 and 2011 controls.
Brian Mazique is smart as hell, major props to him for asking profound questions, because to answer an excellent he asked question, I don't think most fans even know nor even understand what they want... For years, they seem to want QUANTITY over QUALITY and wonder why they got a bunch of trash, that's why I appreciate WWE 2K for keeping QUALITY over QUANTITY.
However. I think it's hilarious, I've been trying to tell people for years, we have Universe Mode, where you can literally control everything (all rosters, all championships, all shows, all year, etc.), why do they insist on crying for LIMITATIONS, as Jinks just said, in GM Mode? The logic behind that NEVER made any sense to me, but here's hoping some variation of MyGM pacifies the nonsensical whining.
Hmm, interesting... "SPECTATE" exclusive to MyGM seems about as close as we're gonna get to Special Guest Referee features, which I think is AWESOME... Because I'm no fan of GM Mode, because I prefer more in-ring action, thought Universe Mode is better, and thought GM Mode is better suited as a mobile app... But with this "SPECTATE" feature, I imagine if they really went in-depth with it, the action should be continous as we roam varying camera angles throughout the arena... THAT is just crazy to think about, and allow us to interfere, distract the referee, or not... THAT is awesome, I'm no fan of GM Mode, but I would actually indulge in MyGM if that's the case... However, I wonder just like how they allow us to save the same things through multiple modes at the same time, will they allow us to reflect and save what goes on in MyGM and Universe/Superstar Mode at the same time? Or as Jinks said, it's a completely separate thing?
Furthermore, it's like everything is improving, I actually appreciate we have option to control everything in Universe Mode as we've been doing, but I guess you could turn it into a Career Mode that tracks your chosen superstar record and storyline... Gotta say, that's pretty damn AWESOME! I didn't know what the other TH-camrs were talking, when they said you can choose one superstar for Universe Mode... Like, why the hell would I want that, while we can control everything in Universe Mode now? Clearly, a misunderstanding, but I dig it, if Universe Mode can alternate to a Career Mode that you can also alternate among superstars... Gotta say, I've kinda been doing that now, unless this potential Career Mode within Universe Mode is somehow more deliberate with W-L record.

I've never understood everyones desire to bring gm mode back either. They should've just changed the name of universe mode to gm mode and focused on something worthwhile. Create a story would've been a much better addition than a watered down version of universe mode
There needs to be a demo before the game comes out. After WWE 2K20, Battlegrounds, and deactivating the online features in other WWE 2K games have left me with little faith in 2K. And the NWO bundle I feel that wasn't necessary given the NWO have been in a lot of the games and they weren't dlcs. I know it sounds like I'm griping but I just don't want to be screwed over again.

The one thing that's intriguing to me is the controlling setup. Given that the game has the default controller setup. I wonder if the alternate controller commands includes the No Mercy and HCTP setup 🤔

I agree WWE 2K20 was bad but I do still play it, only for "updated roster at the time of release" and a few decent bits and unlike most people I will never give up on WWE Games just because one is bad doesn't mean they all are, however I will wait a couple months before buying WWE 2k22 just in case

I remember when WWE 2k15 was first installment for ps4/xbox one looked amazing, much like NBA 2k14 (still looks great), then over the years they gradually downgraded. This is what the new WWE/NBA 2k on next gen reminds me of. Hopefully it won't end up slowly downgrading from here

Yes, Here comes the pain was the best career mode. You could change shows and have a tag team mate help you throughout the career
All I really want to see is a few things one, road to wrestlemania,
Two, limb damage if your attacking a arm or leg i like to see over time them limping or holding there arm from the pain.
Three, make matches where you can take the fight any where like they use to have back in the n64 days where you take them from the ring to back stage areas.
Four, Promos where they give u options on what you want to say to your opponents.
Five, bustable wepons
Six, creating rivalries and friends with other wwe superstars
Seven, fighting in the crowds of people maybe as a finisher is popping up some the people in the crowd will help u by either holding on to the opponent or hand you wepons to use
Eight, letting you decide how your going to interact with other wwe superstars are you going to be friendly and make friends with some of them or make rivalries out of others where u don't know if they will come up and attack you out of no where and vise versus with you doing the same to them 🤔
Well, the button-mashing concerns me, hopefully there's an option to alternate between the button-mashing and the timing-system.. At least with the timing-system, there's a fighting chance to actually comeback.. Late in the match it's not certain, sometimes I miss that little green mark, but when I do hit that little green mark, it's just a great feeling that you can get back into the match, and you're telling me that's gone? For sweaty button-mashing, where if you just take a certain amount of damage, there's nothing you can do, you're just done? I sincerely hope not, but allow us to pick whether we want button-mashing or the timing-system..🙁
So, they are actually trying to turn it into a fighting game, while we've experienced back in the 90's, Acclaim's WWF War Zone and Attitude had specific button combinations per superstar you had to memorize, and that righteously bombed... So, I'm really wondering, WTF are we doing here? We're trying to turn a wrestling game into a fighting game, again? Is WWE 2K22 really trying to step into the realm of Mortal Kombat? I'm just not too certain about that.. I love the competition in Mortal Kombat, but fighting games is one of the more difficult gaming genres, if you're heading in that direction... Knew something was off, having 2 buttons for LIGHT and HEAVY ATTACKS..😒
However, it is a good idea removing Reversal Limits, I played with Reversal Limits and thought it was too much of a restriction when we have Major Reversals that leaves you vulnerable for a certain amount of time... If I were to pick one, yeah, Major Reversals is like your reward to beat up the opponent for achieving such counter, then we don't need Reversal Limits... So, good riddance to that!✌😁
They will never do that its too much work for this money grab company and also there has never in wrestling game history ever been an option like that.

Tbf being better than 2k20 should be the bare minimum, with the time they had I expect more graphically, gameplay, game modes and match types
Why is create a story mode not sellable to include in the game? I really miss it - I enjoyed creating and branching stories - and how integrated each of them to come out with multiple outcomes - it was so much fun to have multiple endings for a story I started with the Miz and ended up with other characters depending on choices made!!!!

Well the undertaker showcase of every wrestlemania opponent can add many interesting wrestlemania arena (from 3-23), undertaker outfits, wrestlers (retro orton, Jake Roberts, Diesel, CM Punk, RA: HHH, RA: Shawn Michaels, Mark Henry, Masked Kane/Bald Kane, retro Edge, retro batista, etc that i forgot). With all of these, this is a DLC worth as Deluxe editions. From golden age to PG era.

I hope they fixed all the glitches and make the bleeding more realistic. When I make an opponent bleed after turning the setting on, it won’t start to cover their face until after I do a move to cause a replay. I hope the graphics are really what they portray to be as well, we’ve seen previous games from WWE to have graphics in commercials that don’t really exist in the game for real. We’ve seen that since the PS2 days. I just hope there’s a better roster, better graphics, and no glitches.

I know this may be a huge demand on 2K but I think that would give more life to the game, is making multiple entry and exit for each character, so each time you load a match you never know what the combinaison will be. And maybe a second point, add Random feature in exhibitions match, 1 in a 10 match if you fight one guy of a duo, the other one can suprisingly show up to beat your ass. I know that the career mode will do that, but if it was implamented in the exhibition section of the game, I'm pretty sure we would play a lot more on this game. That is just my opinion. Maybe I'm just a dreamer.
