Toji's body is shown to be able to completely override somebody's soul, and he's also explicitly aware of the shape of his soul. I don't think Mahito could alter Toji's soul when Toji's body is so powerful that it can erase _other_ people's souls.
Yeah but he can only do that when they’re inside him. At least as far as we’ve seen. So it’s similar to how Yuji keeps Sukuna under control. And Yuji wouldn’t be able to resist idle transfiguration without Sukuna
@@aguywithalotofopinions412 Yuji probably could resist Idle Transfiguration better than pretty much anyone else without Sukuna, for the same reasons why he is in control as the vessel and not Sukuna. Totally immune? No, but resistant? Definitely. Yuji, like Toji and Maki (though to a lesser degree) has a natural superhuman body.
not only toji can resist mahito's technique, he has a split soul katana which directly cut someone's soul, which of course one and only mahito's weakness. So yeah he's built to kill mahito
Maybe at later stages but even when she achieves Toji's level of raw power, She is nowhere close to same awareness of the soul as Yuji or Toji. It's more connected to one's self-image.Maki can resist it, but to shrug it off is highly unlikely.
@@singsbadly naw definitely not the same. Everything about toji can be inferred to be true about maki because they share a heavenly restriction. However yuji is just similar in a couple observable ways. The process to compare them is like exactly backwards to what you are saying.
Current Maki already is able to keep up with 15f Sukuna in terms of attack speed, reaction speed and move speed, so even the peak Shibuya Mahito would definitely lose even if we scale that Mahito to be equal to Jogo. So yeah, she stomps Mahito.
The only thing the old lady summoned was Toji body information not his souls, yet Tojis body was so powerful that it completely took over the vessels soul and created a copy of himself (the creator confirmed that the Toji in shibuya is not the real Toji).
@@xanderalexander2545 that's different his body took over someone else soul, not his own. If we follow Mahito explanation the soul creates the body, so logically we can say that Toji's soul created a body that won't allow someone else soul to play with its product (which is toji's boy). But since Mahito attacks the soul that created the body i doubt Toji could fight his own soul.
Usually, a soul comes before the body. In Toji's case, it's complete opposite. It doesn't mean he'll be immune to Mahito's ability, no. But imagine, that when Mahito touches someone's soul, he reshapes it like a piece of clay. In Toji's case it won't be clay. It will be stone or something like that. Basically, Mahito *can* change the shape of his soul, but it will take much, much longer to do so.
Well the thing is that even if he shapes the soul, then... what? Toji literally does not need a soul to inform his body. His body is so strong that *it* tells the *souls* what it should do. So by definition it does not matter what his soul is like, as far as the existence of his body is concerned. So he might be... disoriented, I guess? Momentarily confused before his body just puts it back into shape?
@@goblinrat6119when he was in that grandsons body all that happend is that his body overided his soul and was just acting on pure instinct. When mahito transfigures Tojis soul he could easily do it and Toji wouldn't have any resistance to it. Mahito could easily destroy his soul but his body would just devolve into a similar state like before probably. Which isn't really a wincon for Toji since he's dead. His body just lives on
@@enjoyer6 I guess the question is, what does it practically mean to transfigure his soul, in a scenario where it might or might not (we have not, after all, gotten any definitive, canonical answer to how this would interact) actually affect him bodily? Idle Transfiguration does not destroy souls, it changes their shape, thereby changing the shape of the body (as the reality of Mahito's technique says that the soul comes first and the body follows, as he puts it). However, Toji's body, and functionality, is independent of the soul (he was functionally resurrected due to a possession, where his soul was explicitly not brought back), and in fact ignores the soul (the grandson's soul being in the body meant jack shit and got overridden). So, in this scenario, what does it practically speaking mean that Mahito might change the shape of his soul, if the effect (the change of his physical form) does not manifest? Saying he "dies" is kind of questionable, considering Mahito doesn't specifically kill you anyway (well he does, but you didn't die because Idle Transfiguration touched your soul, you died because your body blew up due to it, for example, so unless your body actually submits to that change, you're not dying). Even if his soul's form got changed in some sense, his body can seemingly override the soul anyway. (It does not ultimately matter how strong Mahito's technique is, in itself, because he's not forcibly remolding your body. He's making your own soul do it. And thus, the only pertinent part is that Toji's body can tell a soul to fuck off and stop bothering him.) Of course, all of this has a lot of theorycrafting and guesswork. The actual answer might be anything due to factors that were never considered or detailed, due to the simple fact it was never necessary in the series itself.
@@goblinrat6119 if Mahito changes the shape of Tojis soul, even if his body resists it I'm sure having a disfigured soul would have disastrous effects on his mental. After all, when his body over-writ the grandsons soul it didn't bring his back or anything. He became a senseless fighting machine with no free will. Until the power of love saved him Ofc. Anyway it might not of even been Toji that was special. It could of been the glitch it the seance technique due to his body having 0 cursed energy that made him go crazy. Nothing about his body resisting the soul but the revival just going wrong.
I personally belived that ANY person, as long as they still have their soul, are susceptible to Mahito's technique. The next is question is how strong/ fortified said target's soul is, which ofc different from people to people
Very huge chance that Toji's body's lack of cursed energy may make idle transfiguration that him the same as a building or object, hence Gege saying it'd be like a bug in a program.
@@mosesmkandawire3032 even inorganic and inanimate objects have souls in jujutsu kaisen. Thats why the soul liberation blade works. @@mosesmkandawire3032 when they explained the soul liberation blade, they explained the idea of the ability to see the shape of souls of both organic and inorganic objects
While he’d likely not be as vulnerable to it as your average sorcerer, I seriously doubt he could resist it for too long. If Mahito can tag him 4-5 times, he’s dead. Of course, the question is whether he can before Toji cuts him to ribbons so many times that he runs out of CE. Or just uses the Inverted Spear Of Heaven if he has it. Man, Toji is just so freakishly powerful, I love it. Can’t wait to see him animated
honesty, he's probably immune my reasoning: the soul is almost certainly connected to innate domains, due to the fact that mahito enters sukuna's innate domain when he touches his and itadori's souls to add onto this, the only sorcerer(aside from sukuna) who has shown to be resistant to mahito is nanami, who said the one height of cursed energy he could never achieve(aside from reversed cursed technique) is a proper domain expansion looking at this with my confirmation bias, this could imply that nanami has put all the pieces for creating a domain in place, except for power and talent which means that his innate domain is ready to expand once he gains the raw power and skill to do so, which is why I think he was resistant to idle transfiguration, whilst Sukuna, someone who has a perfect domain, is immune why is this important? if this is true, this means that mahito is actually manipulating the shape of people's innate domains, and not the core of their souls toji does not have an innate domain, which is why has has no cursed energy so in other words, he has no soul for mahito to manipulate, whether it's through touching him or using his domain(which cannot detect him)
Gojo states that a sorcerers development is based on their cursed tech. The higher echelon are dominated by ego. Ego something Nanami lacked. You have to have a well defined sense of self to make a domain. This is a really good theory. Since idle transfiguration’s still on the table through Kenjaku I wouldn’t be surprised if this got confirmed to be true.
This is false lol, the soul is literally your soul in JJK. It’s one of the most important motifs. Toji’s soul would be stronger than his manipulation not “he has no soul.”
Very detailed video, you even brought out the information from interviews which are usually very hard to find. P/s: Toji had the weapon that hard counters Mahito, the split soul Katana that skips the hardness and just slashes directly to the soul
Let's not forget about Soul Split Katana. If Toji can use it he can perceive the souls of inanimate objects, meaning he can kill Mahito in less attacks than Mahito can kill him 😂
In the battle against Todo vs mahito. Not even his black flash can't kill him because it didn't directly hit his soul. So Toji is quite capable of harming mahito's soul with the split soul katana or destroy his domain and negate his curse techniques with the Inverted spear of heaven.
@@AnImperfectHatred Uh, no. As the name implies, the "soul split katana" targets one's soul, reason why it can bypass the durability of organisms or cursed spirits, the only way to really harm Mahito is by damaging his soul, and Toji's understanding of souls along the Split Soul Katana would do exactly just that. He'd be basically immune to Mahito's techniques thanks to his understanding of his and other's souls, and he has the weapon to deal with Mahito's type without any problems, he's an even worse opponent to Mahito than Yuji was. (Yuji's barely decent understanding of souls thanks to Sukuna's prescence was enough to make himself immune, Toji's superior understanding would put him even above that)
Would have loved to see mahitos face if something like that happened like someone making idle transfiguration useless , without a sukunna I feel the madness of him not being able to comprehend it would have drove him insane
1. The Inverted spear of heaven allows Toji to obliterate the domain with minor inconvenience. Negating any aspect that could bring it up as an advantage. 2. The Inverted Spear of Heaven, again, is a weapon that completely ignores cursed techniques. This makes every single attack lethal against Mahito, not because it can hurt his soul but because it removes the invulnerability the technique provides him. (Debatable) 3. Toji's superior physique puts him on the top of JJK, he'd completely speed blitz and handle Mahito the same way a WWE Champion would handle a toddler. 4. If for any reason Mahito is determined to be an unbeatable opponent due to his invulnerability provided by idle transfiguratiin, Toji isnt the type of person to avoid running from a fight due to his pride. He'd be out of there faster than when he walked out on Megumin.
Even if the Inverted Spear of Heaven is debatable against Mahito, we still have the Split Soul Katana. That thing explicitly does direct damage to the soul, and it could kill Mahito with enough slices.
The domain won't work on Toji even without the spear, those with heavenly restriction and zero curse energy like Toji or Maki in manga would not be recognized by domains as living beings.
I find this video interesting. Not only for the topic, that's just a fascinating idea. But the way you were able to gather the information and prove an idea you had. Also the fact the information was all there, to come to such a conclusion. JJK sure is interesting.
@@marcioamaral7511 Naoya is arguably one of the strongest curses so far. At her current level, she beat even him easily. Especially since she has a sword which negates defense, the only “curse” that could beat Maki now is Sukuna, Mahoraga, and Gojo

It's amazing that you can put in all the required information for forming our own opinions in such a short video, without the video seeming boring. And then you don't say what you might think could be correct because you never know. Great video.
Idk how I’m just now discovering this video but this is a question I’ve been asking myself for a couple weeks and now I have a little more clarity on the subject.
These heavenly restrictions characters are presented as bugs in JJK world and they are immune to many things. We already encountered a similar situation in relation to domain and this situation also won't be any different.
Regarding the strength of the soul, is it possible to bring Gojo back using Kenjaku CT? Like when part of Geto body regained their original consciousness that few seconds during Shibuya Incident. Like I hope there could be a bug for Gojo to finally return to life
I think the soul piloting Gojo's body would have to do something he disagrees with. Geto was able to reflexively choke Kenjaku only when he was in the middle of sealing Gojo, his best friend. Every other act of villainy done in Geto's body want met with that reaction tho - despite knowing Yuki, Geto didn't react when Kenjaku fought and killed her. I'd say the main issue rn is that Gojo gave Yuta permission to pilot his body. He didn't care. I also can't see Yuta doing something that Gojo disagrees with so much that he reflexively does something. But idk, disagreement with what the body is doing is the only emotion we've seen be able to trigger the dead, but there might be another way
As shown with panda the soul is located inside the body and can be moved consiously so most likely mahito traces the cursed energy of the soul to find it and reshape it, that would make toji completely immune to idle transfiguration due to his souls basically being invisible due to the lack of physical or cursed energy prescence, that would mean mahito would need to be in contact with toji for a while to even find a soul, and im willing to bet any enemy of toji that gets in contact with him for more than 0,1 sec is basically done
I think that the quality or strength of a Soul can be interpreted as toughness or malleability of the Soul considering Idle Transfiguration. While normal, run-of-the-mill Souls are like Blobs of Clay to Mahito, Souls like Toji's are more akin to a Block of Steel in terms of durability. That he faced Sukuna when he wanted to use Idle Transfiguration on Yuji could just be the fact that Mahito involuntarily touched both Souls, since they are entangled and roam the same body, falling in line with Kenny's statement of the Soul(s) being the Body and the Body the Soul(s), thus giving Sukuna the chance to turn it into a battle of Domains, as he's still an individual just not in control of the body he roams. So, like, Toji would probably get a few freebies before getting Chronenburged.
Too fast for pre round 2 gojo yea, but gojo became too fast for toji after that. But you’re right mahito is so much more inferior to toji, he would get one shot not just with inverted spear but soul split katana would also do damage on him
Sukuna is vary much an outlier when it comes to idle transfigurations effects. Primarily cause Sukuna is enlightened. Similar to Tengen they are beings that transcend logic. It’s stated that Sukuna is an example of what would happen if Tengen let go of his remaining humanity. Become a being ambivalent to all things. Gojo is also enlightened but to a lesser degree since he won’t budge on his humanity. It’s why he doesn’t have the body dysmorphia that Sukuna and Tengen have. Toji and Maki might have some invulnerability but we’ve seen Mahito fight someone with heavenly restriction. Mechamaru or Muta. Mahito even reversed his restriction completely. Though heavenly restriction can effect people differently so maybe the Toji/Maki brand of restriction gives soul hacks.
Toni most definitely needs 2-3 touches but he gotta get touched first and if you really think about it, it’s Tojo he ain’t finna let Mahito get a chance to move
Would yutas cursed technique be able to copy angels technique to prevent cursed techniques? If so could the group use that to free gojo without have them kill yuji and sukuna?
If that is a possibility, it wouldn't be possible without a great sacrifice, like losing a shit ton of his CE potential and/or sacrificing one of his biggest powers (either sacrificing Rika completely, or losing the ability to copy any other CT)
To awnser it we have to understand how soul is works in the jjk universe. The possibility to override ones soul with just the body and the fact that body is directly connected to the soul what was written when gojo was getting sealed and he saw geto, their chat where Gojo has directly seen Getos soul inside of controlled by kenjaku body. So there is a big chance that it would be not so useful. We could also just assume that depending on how much stronger someone is thjan the user less it works wuch could explain why he had to use couple of morphs to make a change on toudo
There's actually still big potential for the soul curse, his ability of evolution is very op. There's also a thing in my mind, he can control souls but with accurate souls manipulation you can basicaly do clones of other sorcerers and possibly even manipulate them
Even if mahito can damage his soul. Because of how strong it is, he’s need quite a few hits on the soul. While toji is much faster and has a weapon that attacks the soul directly. Toji blitz and one shots. I don’t even see a way for mahito to ever win unless you make toji go in bare handed.
Even if Toji goes in bare handed, he’s way too fast and skilled to get touched by Mahito. Not to mention, Toji can likely see souls without any weapons due to his heavenly restriction, meaning he can whoop Mahito without soul damaging weapons.
If he has any means of actually attacking Mahito's soul, he'd destroy him easily. If he has the weapon that disables cursed techniques he'd win in seconds.
Well it's probably worth noting as well that Toji is unlikely to even allow Mahito the opportunity to attempt this in the first place. Maybe if he somehow outmaneuvers him in to his domain expansion. But Toji can practically teleport, so it would probably have to be a situation where Toji willingly has to enter the domain for one reason or another.
Considering Maki, who is arguably weaker, but in no way stronger than Toji, can completely negate domains, it seems highly improbable that Toji would not be able to effectively completely negate this skill just as easily
Agreed. The revelation that domains DONT EVEN RECOGNIZE HER and can’t be used on her along with her own comparison to Toji makes me think that his greater heavenly restriction means he has zero cursed energy as well.
Stop this bullshit THEY ARE EQUAL I REPEAT THEY ARE NOW CONFIRMED EQUAL ain’t no she is arguably weaker she is as strong and since she’s still alive she will grow to be stronger in the future
I found something like this on the internet "in Jujutsu Kaisen, the soul is depicted as an integral part of a person's existence, and it is closely tied to the concept of cursed energy." I believe that cursed energy is what splits a human into body and soul, but since with this theory "soul" and "body" cannot exist without cursed energy as separate informations, while summoning "body" granny also summoned "soul" that wasn't separated from the body by cursed energy (just a theory of course)
If it’s like the granny summon technique then yeah. He could resist it but it might take a hit for his body to get used to it. Like how he wasn’t immediately in control, it took a small amount of time before his body overdid the technique.
Let’s not forget that Geto choked kenjaku while kenjaku’s brain was in the body so the body still had some self of Geto at a certain level. So how would Toji fair when kenjaku takes his body?
It's been stated that even inorganic and inanimate objects have souls in jujutsu kaisen. Thats why the soul liberation blade works to cut through anything regardless of toughness by slicing their souls. But Mahito can only manipulate souls of organic and animate objects like humans. (With curse energy as far as we know) but since innate domains (barriers and domains in general) treat maki and toji as the same as inanimate objects and terrains, he may be able to avoid it in Domain expansions and mahito's curse technique. Toji's body literally override someone else's soul. Meaning their soul is the body, freed from cursed energy. I believe that they are immune, as it is explicitly stated, they are sensitive to but immune to curses as they lack cursed energy similar to the terrains around them. They are basically tough inanimate objects in the eyes of jujutsu. Anomalies. The real question is, 1. does Sukuna's dismantle and cleave work in a similar fashion as the soul liberation blade? Where dismantle attacks souls of inorganic objects and cleave attacks anything with cursed energy. I believe Sukuna has insights to the soul and physical information. 2. Cursed corpse manipulation, seance techniques are said to manipulate and call upon information of "souls and body". Is this the same with Mahito's but on a different level? 3. Its almost hinted that principle Yaga's cursed corpse manipulation can be passed to someone else, when he is dying he told the other principal saying, "this is a curse from me to you". Similar to Seance technique, i believe it can be learned and is important for the future of jujutsu kaisen's storyline.
Mahito’s ability doesn’t take over other people’s souls, he just reshapes them. If Mahito had the speed necessary to touch Toji, he definitely would be able to use IT, especially since Toji doesn’t have the Cursed Energy needed to subconsciously defend against it. As for Sukuna, Mahito didn’t even attempt IT, Sukuna was just insulted by Mahito touching him.
Moving aside what toji did to the Ogamis grandson soul it was stated that Heavenly restriction users have a higher resistance to curses so it woul take more touches to kill toji
A little clue. Mahito was looking for the perfect body to reflect his soul. So maybe that's what sukuna did to achieve his two faces and four arms look.
It’s quite simple, the stronger the soul the more resistance you have to idle transfiguration. The body and the soul are the same, Toji has a crazy strong body therefore a crazy strong soul. Toji one shots mahito with soul split katana.
Imo Mahito could potentially harm Pre-Death Toji as Toji's Soul and Body exists at the same time. But "reanimated(?)" Toji would be immune to idle transfiguration because his Body exists, and Mahito's CT would only be affecting the supressed soul, which may not affect Toji whatsoever. And this is just my Opinion and speculation
I would say that mahito technique would work but it’s would take like 5-8 attaches to fully the distort the soul I mean that’s what I got since of nanami but it would work
He is the mortal stand in for sun wu kong. I imagine his stone skin would probably manifest as him having a really strong immunity to mahitos idle transfiguration
Everything talking about the toji and mahito but me listening to the background music he used. Bro really used Dying light 2015 game's Background music. This is the first thing that came in my mind from the starting of the video
Toji could pretty much just blitz Mahito, Soul Splitting Blade "a cursed tool that directly hurts the soul"+ Toji heavily outscales Mahito in every physical aspect + he is both aware of the shape of his soul and can see other souls very much like Maki.
Mahito CT can affect Toji. Soul and body tagged along and both on the series can be damaged, mahito can see he's target percentage how vulnerability they become to he's attack. Toji body can be exhausted, damage etc. On some point he will be.
As kenjaku said “soul is one with body” meaning if your body is strong your soul is also strong and we know for a fact that toji is no ordinary when it comes to durability and resistance
Most people would die, only Yuji and Megumi's are vessels, Yuji being a bit special because he can actually imprison Sukuna instead of getting possessed like Megumi, possibly because of his dad being the reincarnated Sukuna's twin
I like a lot more the theory of someone in the comments which argues that maybe Mahito's souls manipulation is strictly related to inner domains, therefore, the lack of any cursed energy (The literal pillar of any tech, specially, domains) Toji has no inner domain that can be altered, and so Toji would be inmune, hence this "bug".
If we're referring to Shibuya "Toji" then its Tojis body information and Ino's Soul. Tojis body information was so strong that it took over the body but not the soul (hence why he doesn't remember megumi and is fighting off pure instinct rather than thought). Now Ino's soul has cursed energy but the body doesn't since Toji never had cursed energy (which is why he can keep going until someone brings him down since the technique won't dissipate). With that being said... If Mahito were to try and manipulate "Toji's" Soul he would just be manipulating Ino's Soul...but since Tojis body information is strong enough to supress Ino's soul, couldn't he try to fight the actual manipulation with his body information alone? Since it would essentially be a different different person being manipulated rather than Toji? I imagine it like trying to play with playdough while its still in the container
Even if idle transfiguration worked on Toji, he’s too fast for mahito to ever touch. Mahito was getting into exchanges with and losing in close quarter combat with yuji, Toji would completely blitz him. And being that toji has the split soul katana in his arsenal, which is a weapon that directly attacks and cuts the soul, he’s tailor made to kill mahito and ignore his usual resistances
@@RadiationEnthusiast282 this is correct, but taking character personalities into consideration, mahito never looks to start any battle with domain expansion and he especially wouldn’t do so with Toji who he’d think was just a weak human with no cursed energy. His domain expansion also has a start up time and toji can absolutely kill him before he even has time to open it up. It really would only take a few slashes with the soul splitting katana to kill him. Edit : also as per the manga with makis recent fight in the culling games it was confirmed that those with no cursed energy like toji and maki are unaffected by the sure hit condition of a domain because they are perceived by domains as objects and not sorcerers due to their lack of cursed energy.

i think the reason sukuna is immune to it is not because he is this strong, but mainly because its mahito attacking yujis soul and sukuna is just existing there, kinda like a bodyguard since its not in his best interest for mahito to turn his vessel into a vegetable, so when he interacts with yuji sukuna stops him with shrine like they are having a one on one, i imagine if sukuna had no vessel he would get damaged like others
Yuji was immune to idle transfiguration not because of Sukuna It is because of He is like a cursed object which makes him resistant to idle transfiguration
He's not immune but he's resistant to it. Either way if the match came to it I think toji's main problem would be damaging mahito since he can't damage the soul and mahito would probably eventually weaken him through chip damage
The playful cloud, soul split katana and primarily The inverted spear of heaven will 100% not allow mahito to get close enough to toji because the inverted spear of heaven negates every cursed techniques effectiveness against it to 0. Its basically return to zero from jjba part 5 it nullifies any kind of cursed technique or energy it comes in contact with due to instead of being imbued with cursed energy, it has an unlimited space for said cursed energy when other cursed items have a limit. Basically instead of repelling back cursed energy and enhancing the power of the weapon, it absorbs cursed energy within itself hence how it nullified gojos infinity because gojos infinity is positive infinity where the inverted spear of heaven is a negative infinity and when you take the negative infinity ( the inverted spear) out of the positive infinity (gojos limitless technique) you remain at 0 (the inverted spear of heaven bypasses and absorbs gojos infinity in order to break through his limitless barrier and come in contact with him) Kinda like how sukuna did it while fighting gojo he used mahoraga to nullify his infinity to 0 and leave him defenseless There is no way mahito can have a counter to the inverted spear of heaven as it may have been described as imbued with cursed energy because it is imbued with it, but at the same time it absorbs it. and since it has an endless space for it. The inverted spear of heaven has no counter Combine the fact toji resurection (they ressurected toji in his prime when he was still zenin (19)) brutally 1000x outmatches and blitzes mahito s physical abilities. Add on witht the fact ALL 5 senses of Toji are pushed and enhanced beyond the human limit so he cant be surprise attacked Combine that he has ludicrous speed strength and general stats overall The only way mahitos winning is if toji isnt using the spear of heaven and even then mahito would be on the brink of death due to the wounds toji would inflict on him
Sukuna isn't immune to Mahito's technique, he is able to defend against it but it is very much a conscious effort, If Mahito was able to withstand Sukuna's attack while landing Idle Transfiguration enough time, eventually, Sukuna would be affected . He isn't immune so much as he has a counter mesure against it
I feel that Mahito before his true form fighting with Yuji would need about 3 touches on Toji and True form would probably only need 2, but he'd still bite the dust.
I doubt it. Toji body was able to overwrite someone else’s soul due to his body having absolute zero cursed energy. It even says that his body is special and has gained its own immunity/resistances to cursed energy on top of not being registered as a person in the jujutsu world. It would be like mahito touching a rock on the side of the road.
I am not entirely sure. We have seen Idle Transfiguration override Heavenly Restrictions although that was fully consensual. I do think that Mahito would lose against a Toji equipped with Soul Splitting Katana. But saying that Idle Transfiguration would be ineffective seems like overreaching to me. I believe it would require Mahito to advance and strengthen his technique, possibly through binding vows, but it would be absolutely effective.
🤣🤣 I feel like an idiot, the premise of this video is Mahito laying a hand on Toji. I just watched the Maki video, and was so confused on how Toji would get touched during the fight
I have the impression that soul and body are two sepparate entities that compliment each other as one. The soul is the mold the body, and the body contains the soul. If you manipulate the soul, you can manipulate the body. If you manipulate the body, it doesn't change your soul instantly, but it can reshape your soul. Toji having it's heavenly restriction makes his body unique, and only his soul fits that body. So, if another soul tries to occupy his body, Toji's body will reshape the soul to acquire the form of Toji's soul.
Toji is simply built different.
Literally "me personally, I wouldn't let that slide" the character.

@@Malvium The only reason bro didn't go into a Itachi arc and massacred his whole clan is cuz he couldn't care less

Literally. Toji does whatever he wants.

Yuji too, because his soul was strong enough to withstand sukuna. Related to his physical strength even before he was a sorcerer.

Current Maki already is able to keep up with 15f Sukuna in terms of attack speed, reaction speed and move speed, so even the peak Shibuya Mahito would definitely lose even if we scale that Mahito to be equal to Jogo. So yeah, she stomps Mahito.
I feel that it is very likely that he won't get one shot by it, he soul alone was enough to take back his own body if I remember

@@xanderalexander2545 that's different his body took over someone else soul, not his own. But since Mahito attacks the soul that created the body i doubt Toji could fight his own soul.
@@sgcastle8389 his body changed the form of someone else's souls as specific his soul wasn't summoned
True, plus Mahito will find his chopped up hands in his pocket every time he tries to touch Toji
And thus, the only pertinent part is that Toji's body can tell a soul to fuck off and stop bothering him.)
Of course, all of this has a lot of theorycrafting and guesswork.
I'm glad you are enjoying the videos! Hope to keep putting out videos you can enjoy
honesty, he's probably immune
my reasoning: the soul is almost certainly connected to innate domains, due to the fact that mahito enters sukuna's innate domain when he touches his and itadori's souls
to add onto this, the only sorcerer(aside from sukuna) who has shown to be resistant to mahito is nanami, who said the one height of cursed energy he could never achieve(aside from reversed cursed technique) is a proper domain expansion
looking at this with my confirmation bias, this could imply that nanami has put all the pieces for creating a domain in place, except for power and talent
which means that his innate domain is ready to expand once he gains the raw power and skill to do so, which is why I think he was resistant to idle transfiguration, whilst Sukuna, someone who has a perfect domain, is immune
why is this important? if this is true, this means that mahito is actually manipulating the shape of people's innate domains, and not the core of their souls
toji does not have an innate domain, which is why has has no cursed energy
so in other words, he has no soul for mahito to manipulate, whether it's through touching him or using his domain(which cannot detect him)
Great deductions.. Damn I hope this sort of explanation is given in the manga

(Debatable)

But idk, disagreement with what the body is doing is the only emotion we've seen be able to trigger the dead, but there might be another way
As shown with panda the soul is located inside the body and can be moved consiously so most likely mahito traces the cursed energy of the soul to find it and reshape it, that would make toji completely immune to idle transfiguration due to his souls basically being invisible due to the lack of physical or cursed energy prescence, that would mean mahito would need to be in contact with toji for a while to even find a soul, and im willing to bet any enemy of toji that gets in contact with him for more than 0,1 sec is basically done
i love the nostalgic dying light 1 song in the background

Though heavenly restriction can effect people differently so maybe the Toji/Maki brand of restriction gives soul hacks.
mechamaru lost heavenly restriction the moment he was healed
Toji's soul and not his body is the factor here though. Tojis soul should be 1000000 times stronger than mechamaru

I believe that cursed energy is what splits a human into body and soul, but since with this theory "soul" and "body" cannot exist without cursed energy as separate informations, while summoning "body" granny also summoned "soul" that wasn't separated from the body by cursed energy (just a theory of course)
Gege says in the fanbook Kenjaku couldn't take Toji's body.
It's been stated that even inorganic and inanimate objects have souls in jujutsu kaisen. Thats why the soul liberation blade works to cut through anything regardless of toughness by slicing their souls. But Mahito can only manipulate souls of organic and animate objects like humans. The real question is,
1. does Sukuna's dismantle and cleave work in a similar fashion as the soul liberation blade?

It’s quite simple, the stronger the soul the more resistance you have to idle transfiguration. The body and the soul are the same, Toji has a crazy strong body therefore a crazy strong soul. Toji one shots mahito with soul split katana.
Good video. 👌
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it
Imo Mahito could potentially harm Pre-Death Toji as Toji's Soul and Body exists at the same time. But "reanimated(?)" Toji would be immune to idle transfiguration because his Body exists, and Mahito's CT would only be affecting the supressed soul, which may not affect Toji whatsoever. And this is just my Opinion and speculation
I would say that mahito technique would work but it’s would take like 5-8 attaches to fully the distort the soul I mean that’s what I got since of nanami but it would work
Toji has no cursed energy to subconsciously defend against it like Nanami did
He is the mortal stand in for sun wu kong.
Mahito would need to actually be able to touch Toji before he could do that. With Toji's speed, he wouldn't have to worry about that even
Day One of Asking for :TOJI vs YUTA🙏🏾
Toji 2 weapons, WIN.
Toji could pretty much just blitz Mahito, Soul Splitting Blade "a cursed tool that directly hurts the soul"+ Toji heavily outscales Mahito in every physical aspect + he is both aware of the shape of his soul and can see other souls very much like Maki.
i cant tell if the background music is dying light or not
"What ever curse technique that is powerfull and cant be defeated the are always a weakness"
-Suguru Geto (Kenjaku)
Mahito CT can affect Toji.
Soul and body tagged along and both on the series can be damaged, mahito can see he's target percentage how vulnerability they become to he's attack. Toji body can be exhausted, damage etc. On some point he will be.
As kenjaku said “soul is one with body” meaning if your body is strong your soul is also strong and we know for a fact that toji is no ordinary when it comes to durability and resistance
What happens if toji eats a finger and becomes a vessel ?
Most people would die, only Yuji and Megumi's are vessels, Yuji being a bit special because he can actually imprison Sukuna instead of getting possessed like Megumi, possibly because of his dad being the reincarnated Sukuna's twin
Daily reminder that Heavenly restriction doesn't make you immune to cursed techniques
This is a question that could be answered in the future. After all kenjaku could use it on maki one day.
0:52 man i can't believe he missed a blank point black flash💔
I imagine it like trying to play with playdough while its still in the container
longest 5 minutes of my life
Even if idle transfiguration worked on Toji, he’s too fast for mahito to ever touch.
Domain expasion has guaranteed hit effect (except for dagon) so i'm not sure target's speed revelant or not
@@RadiationEnthusiast282 this is correct, but taking character personalities into consideration, mahito never looks to start any battle with domain expansion and he especially wouldn’t do so with Toji who he’d think was just a weak human with no cursed energy.
Mahito is extremely broken
His soul manipulation simply ignores durability
Toji is done once he uses idle transfiguration
toji is immune to idle transfiguration
even *if* he is not ı think he will still win
he is almost faster then sound
he can survive a short ranged reversal red from gojo himself
he can one shot %90 of jjk characters
he beat the shimata out dagon and toy with him
and he is immune to all domain expensions
all he have to do is act faster then mahito
then jobs done
@@AYAZakin-i9z "He can one shot 90% of jjk characters" *incorrect buzzer*
"he can survive a short ranged reversal red from gojo himself *incorrect buzzer* (he blocked the entire attack with the ISOH, it didnt even explode he was simply bleeding from basic damage)
"and he is immune to ALL domains" *incorrect buzzer* (kenjaku & sukuna)
"toji is immune to idle transfiguration" *incorrect buzzer*
"he is almost faster then sound" *ding ding* (hes faster)
@@waitnevermind5471 ı should remind you that even before explodeion the power of red is really strong that can broke every single bone of a regular person with a simple touch, and we see awakend mahito just destroyed with a punch of yuji, ı know its a black flash but it still way weaker then tojis normal attacks, so even these two factor makes him able to beat mahito
edit: ı didn't remember his weapons in this comment
so ı think unarmed toji maybe can get beated but ı think toji before respawn is absolutely destroys mahito (he have soul split katana can slice souls, only thing mahito weak to)
@@AYAZakin-i9z I'm sorry, but the moment you said yuji's black flash was weaker than tojis normal attacks i stopped reading.
i think the reason sukuna is immune to it is not because he is this strong, but mainly because its mahito attacking yujis soul and sukuna is just existing there, kinda like a bodyguard since its not in his best interest for mahito to turn his vessel into a vegetable, so when he interacts with yuji sukuna stops him with shrine like they are having a one on one, i imagine if sukuna had no vessel he would get damaged like others
From the thumbnail i fr thought it was an animation 😭
Dying light Soundtrack 🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥 i regonise it anywhere
I'm surprised you didn't touch on itadori's resistance to the technique considering toji would be very similar to the resistance he's shown
Yuji was immune to idle transfiguration not because of Sukuna
It is because of He is like a cursed object which makes him resistant to idle transfiguration
can resist for a while but then falls to it
He's not immune but he's resistant to it. Either way if the match came to it I think toji's main problem would be damaging mahito since he can't damage the soul and mahito would probably eventually weaken him through chip damage
He can damage the soul, he has that soul splitter blade "or at least, he used to have It when he was alive".
The playful cloud, soul split katana and primarily
The inverted spear of heaven will 100% not allow mahito to get close enough to toji because the inverted spear of heaven negates every cursed techniques effectiveness against it to 0. Its basically return to zero from jjba part 5 it nullifies any kind of cursed technique or energy it comes in contact with due to instead of being imbued with cursed energy, it has an unlimited space for said cursed energy when other cursed items have a limit.
Basically instead of repelling back cursed energy and enhancing the power of the weapon, it absorbs cursed energy within itself hence how it nullified gojos infinity because gojos infinity is positive infinity where the inverted spear of heaven is a negative infinity and when you take the negative infinity ( the inverted spear) out of the positive infinity (gojos limitless technique) you remain at 0 (the inverted spear of heaven bypasses and absorbs gojos infinity in order to break through his limitless barrier and come in contact with him) Kinda like how sukuna did it while fighting gojo he used mahoraga to nullify his infinity to 0 and leave him defenseless
There is no way mahito can have a counter to the inverted spear of heaven as it may have been described as imbued with cursed energy because it is imbued with it, but at the same time it absorbs it. and since it has an endless space for it.
The inverted spear of heaven has no counter
Combine the fact toji resurection (they ressurected toji in his prime when he was still zenin (19)) brutally 1000x outmatches and blitzes mahito s physical abilities.
Add on witht the fact ALL 5 senses of Toji are pushed and enhanced beyond the human limit so he cant be surprise attacked
Combine that he has ludicrous speed strength and general stats overall
The only way mahitos winning is if toji isnt using the spear of heaven and even then mahito would be on the brink of death due to the wounds toji would inflict on him
Toji is legit just "Fuck around and find out"
Sukuna isn't immune to Mahito's technique, he is able to defend against it but it is very much a conscious effort, If Mahito was able to withstand Sukuna's attack while landing Idle Transfiguration enough time, eventually, Sukuna would be affected .
Toji in the thumbnail lookin like HOOOOO WHAT THE HELLLLLLLLLLLL OMG
