If your a musician and inspired dont be afraid to create. She said she had made a song like then night before in a hotel room.. you dont need a fancy studio. Your new song "Bad Things" hit a chord inside me and it's still resonating. My father recently passed away from COVID-19. My family is devastated. My dad was my BEST FRIEND and I have been having a lot of trouble adjusting to this world existing without him. That song just made me break down and cry hardcore on the floor in my kitchen. I have suffered from Mental Health issues since childhood. I am on A LOT of anti-depressants so I KNOW that you understand what I mean when I say THE THOUGHTS......they get dark and always whispering. I haven't been coping well, until now. "DON'T FALL IN LOVE WITH THE BAD THINGS. They might be why I'm still alive." I'm not saying my relationship with my Dad was perfect, WE FOUGHT! I was so out of control as a kid, and I remember how my father would pull his hair out trying to keep me alive. But now....that he is gone.....I can't really recall not even one fight with my dad. at minute 9:36 your sweet voice echoes into a melodic siren call and I closed my eyes. At 10:02 your music exploded in my brain and every happy memory I have ever had with my father came flooding back! Girl Scout Camp, He was Archery instructor. He liked Kermit the frog. He climbed telephone poles for the phone company. He sang in our church choir and was cast as Goliath in David Versus Goliath because he was over 6 foot 2 inches tall and MASSIVE! He loved Strawberry ice cream. He taught me how to shoot billiards are throw darts. EVERY HAPPY MEMORY......every single one. Thank You! My face is wet from it but THANK YOU! Please finish that song soon. Until then I'll be listening to this on repeat
