    Bro Since you decided to live in Tunisia and loved Tunisia, we also consider you our brother and we consider you a Tunisian and not a foreigner.

      @@Am_Paul As someone who has lived overseas, there have been times I was very lonely, even though I had a very “visible” position. I’ve enjoyed your content. Not sure if Tunisia is worth it, however, would love to see El Jem.

    No, you're just going through Tunisia.

      So true! I wonder sometimes if Tunisian culture is changing so fast or is so diverse that Tunisians themselves are going through culture shock!

      Also, culture shock can at times have the same symptoms of depression. If we were to poll Tunisians on the topic of depression, I would imagine that we would find a large sector of society is suffering from it.

      @@Am_Paul same same but different. We're going through a collective and individual dissolution of identity. Depression is fondamentally caused by a lack of conformity or ignorance of new ways to deal with an already existing situation. When not having the necessary "everything" to evolve , when evolution is the rule. Conflict arises , leading to extinction for some and prosperity for others . Natural selection just took a whole new detour.

      @@Am_Paul yup, most people on some degree suffer from depression. As far as i am concerned, a mental illness such as depression isn't merely a Happening of the body or the mind, but a reflection of the individual s reality on all the levels. To be poor, undereducated, abused etc....are legit causes for depression, we just don't know or refuse to confront the fact that our lives are far from being sane and healthy. And that's understandable and deserves empathy but it won't solve anything. Anyway, seems like depression as a phenomena is an inevitable part of our lives. It would've been helpful if we were more able to deal with . ✌️how much more visible does it need to be for depressions sake! Hello anyone out there ? Helloooooooooooooooo . Shit is hitting the fan.

      @@SalmaChalbi so powerful! Thanks for sharing. Life is hard, there are so many triggers, life situations and inequalities. Depression affects everyone from the lowest in society struggling to make ends meet, the middle class business man trying to balance work and life and the millionaire who has everything but love. The more we talk about openly, the more others are able to relate.

    Culture chock or Trauma ? 😂

    • @Am_Paul
      @Am_Paul  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I love this question! Thanks for asking. Culture shock is actually a form of trauma, which is why it is something to take seriously. I highly recommend that foreigners in any country have a coach or therapist to help them work through what they are experiencing.
