Bit on the fence about this but I do love bmth. Need to check out like love by the amity affliction absolute banger from the Aussie boys plus Joel apparently produced it❤️
And in 6 months time 10,000 other metalcore bands will start making music that sounds like this lol. Horizon seem to be the trend setters in that genre. Great song and great reaction guys
Honestly if this is a sign we possibly gonna see a punk twist on what BMTH have provided to us, I will not be complaining the 2000s nostalgia mixed with BMTH screams and pop sensibilities is on point. Also has to be said the 'Emo's not dead' mug from Nath very fitting. Great reaction as always guys 🤘
There's lots of solo-esque moments in a lot of their songs. It's just that Lee doesn't like to put himself in the focus a lot and their solos are amazing honestly. Go back listen to all their songs and you'll hear Lee's brilliance in the background
I'm definitely one of those fans who feels like bmth can do no wrong. Dudes never fucking miss, and I love every bit of it. Diamonds aren't goforever to die4u, it's bangers all the way down.
Hey dudes, liquor and love lost, a lot like Vegas, medusa, maybe black and blue and the sadness will never end all had solos! Nice little twist in this though 🤘

Every album just brings something new & captivating, Ollie brings so much to the table & the band works amazingly in sync with one another. This song hit me hard in the soul when i first heard it!🔥🥴
I liked that you noticed the wobbles or vibrato in the verses, that's new for oli to make them sound so clear in a studio song, He does a lot of it in the butterflies song with amy lee as backing vocals but hearing that upfront in this song is very cool, I love how Oli's improving his voice and the fact he's able to sing some melodic pieces now
This song gave me a bunch of nostalgia for early 2000s punk honestly (And I'm a bit biased towards vampire themed stuff lol). Despite how poppy this sounded at parts, it still had so many BMTH vibes to it and that just speaks volumes to how talented/identifiable they are now. I've never heard Oli's cleans sound like this in this song though, so there's gotta be some effects on the cleans, but they add a nice touch to the song, especially with the video. (Obligatory you should check out Amity Affliction - Like Love statement here lol) (also new Attack Attack is really good but no video for it. I still suggest checking it out though cause it's good.)

The progression of bmth really reminds me a lot of how Linkin Park varied album to album. They go so far one way or the other looking for what the enjoy and in the end they have ended up with a super unique combo of all there favourite genres and sounds.
They had guitar solos yes, in the song the sadness will never end and in blessed with a curse, in sugar honey ice and tea and in (I used to make out with) medusa and also many others
Just seen these live in Birmingham, I'm 53 and never heard them before. Was long ques getting in with covid checks etc but the overall impression was fantastic. I've been used to going to Donnington back in the 80s, everyone had long hair, leather jackets and cut-offs, etc. At this gig, there was such a variety of people, punks, goths, young old, normally dressed folks. honestly, you could off worn a white suit and been bald and not looked out of place! The gig was fantastic and when the cage came down the effects were brilliant, especially the climbing zombies. Great band to watch live, highly recommended.

They definitely have done guitar solos just not too many or for that long. Dear Diary had a short shreddy kind of solo. Pray for Plagues had a minor solo. A Lot Like Vegas had a mini one as well. Black and Blue had a full blown solo although most of it was tapping. Liquor and Lost Love also had a solo. They’ve definitely had solos just not so much and anything other than Count Your Blessings lmao. The rest are kind of just one offs.
