@@KarthikSekaran I know you are talking about Hindustani Bhairavi. Hanumathodi is uniquely Carnatic. It's older version Janathodi, which is extinct now , would've been the equivalent. The right choice for the title would've been Bhairavi/Sindhu Bhairavi .

Hanumatodi and Bhairavi are not the same ragam. Hanumathodi is a uniquely Carnatic ragam, despite sharing its origins with Bhairavi.
I am talking about Hindustani Bhairavi. Carnatic Bhairavi is a different ragam.
