Robot the original movie was awesome. All time great movie. 2.0 was a good. The concept/ story was interesting, performances were good but the story telling was a little bit draggy. The VFX action sequences were quite special and unforgettable. I couldn’t sleep easy for 2 days after watching this. That bird just haunted me.
I know you've reacted to the trailer but you should watch Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (K3G). It's an emotion-type movie and has such a great cast. Great songs too. Fair warning (to Korbin mostly) that it can get a bit melodramatic at times but it's such a classic and means a lot to so many people.

2.0 is very good movie but you will get more interest in it if you watch robot 1. 2.0 is sequel. But you can also watch 2.0 without watching the first one.
