Growing up bowling at Santa Anita Lanes in Arcadia I on occasion used to get mistaken for Billy Meyer’s Jr. His dad worked as a GM of the bowling center. This video brings me back! Carry on!
Fantastic. It is very difficult to win 4 games in a row in the finals Those lefties with those big hooks made it seem like the ball was coming out of nowhere and then somehow getting to the pocket. Did you see McNeely clap at the end there? Class. There was nothing on a Saturday afternoon watching Chris, Nelson, and then Jim.
Great tournament, Mr.B, didn't see this one due to my job, in fact, couldn't see most of the Sat afternoon PBA Tour from roughly 86' on til the end. Bo and Chris were great!!! Any tournaments that you have will do, thanks very much for the uploads !
Interesting bowing tip. Personally I always just winged it and hope something fell down, whether it be the pins or me, and if it was me that fell down, make it as funny as possible. :P

bowling was so magical back in the mid 90s. my childhood was beautiful.
Mid 80s even more so
I made a tidy sum of money in the 60-70’s keeping score for bowling, tax free no less

Thanks also Mr. B. for posting this tourney. Never saw these matches before. Great to relive those ABC bowling broadcasts of the past.

Talk about rigging the lanes for lefties! The lanes for right-handers must have truly sucked in this tournament.
Thank you for uploading!

I don't think Gant "opted" for bowling over MLB. He just didn't make it in baseball.
habyss true, nobody would refuse a guaranteed paycheck to the chance of making money in tournaments
