For whatever reason presets don't work for my looksmenu. I'm sure i borked something when i installed it eons ago lol. I can get all the assets to build my own character just fine it seems. But no importing.
i tried this and it hasn't seemed to have worked and I'm not sure why?

jane bod is incompatible with cbbe
Every time I change the .ini files the just revert back to normal and my Josie is darker but not as dark as yours
You have to manually save the file and go to properties and set them to read only.

At time 3:50 those presets did not appear for me
I use mo2 and I have downloaded every thing I needed but when I select the preset it looks horrible.

You have to have looks menu installed
@@jamcogaming1631 I have the looks menu installed and the other 4 mods the preset option is there but it doesn't work for some reason
@@gigachad3506 do you have fall script extender installed and are you running the game through that have you tired disabling other mods that may be conflicting with looks menu try disabling every other mod that is not required for the preset reinstall looks menu then try that and enable each other mod one by one. Have you installed looks menu Compendium ? Try this and I may have some more solutions if those don’t work

what do I do? the files conflict with eachother
you don't have to worry about the oni files face and body or cbbe conflicting any other mods conflict disable them or run them as suggested when you press resolve conflict but the josie requirements are supposed to conflict don`t worry about that.

@@tomomo5197 yes if you want the oni body then you need to download the requirements for the body and install them all with vortex then the oni body mod also install that with vortex

@@nzuraw i also had the “looks menu customization compendium” mod. Ever since i delete that, everything was okay. Idky but it just works. You can try that tho

Can't get the presets to work
I've been sitting here for 7 fucking hours trying to get this shit and I'm stuck on the "preset folder you just downloaded" because I'm pretty sure I would have known of a folder that I downloaded.
It's says the file doesn't exist when I drag it in

Then it’s probably a vram issue less than 4 gb of vram 6-8 is ideal to run most graphically intensive mods.
