Love that people are enjoying Miracle Edition so much- I haven't contributed much in a while, but it's nice seeing people appreciate all the work that went into scripting all these toggle options. (Sonic CD is a spaghetti mess to work with btw)
I like to imagine "Miracle Edition" is how Sonic CD is going to be adapted for the movieverse - Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy (who is introduced in the upcoming third movie and deliberately lets herself get abducted so that she can work at destroying things from within) work together to gather the Time Stones and stop Robotnik with the newly introduced Metal Sonic (powered by one of Sonic's quills that Robotnik still has on him) from conquering Little Planet. This would nicely provide a potential path for an "Avengers-style" Heroes adaptation (with how much it emphasizes teamwork as well as Shadow reappearing after his apparent heroic sacrifice that would occur at the end of the third movie) and then toward the Black Arms invasion seen in the Shadow the Hedgehog game.
I love the way that the characters look in this mod. I should try this at some point
