After watching this I just thought I would share my first makeup moment with my mom.
When I was younger I would always go into my moms room while she was getting ready for work. My mom loved full glam so the process would take a while and I would watch every detail she would do. Last finishing touch would be lipstick, (547B Breeze from wet n wild)
One day she asked me to do her lipstick, I was nervous as hell because it was such a feminine thing to do (I wasn’t out yet at the time and she knew but never assumed until I was ready, she had patience) after that day she would ask me to do more and more until I did her whole face.
After that it would be a morning ritual. Wake up at 6, coffee for both of us, and full glam session until she left for work.
My mother passed away 11/3/17 and I do miss those morning glam sessions. So anyone reading this, if your a mom or a daughter cherish these little moments because they are life changing.
Without my mom I would have taken a lot longer to discover my love of makeup. To this day I still have the last tube of lipstick she owned in my makeup case as a reminder of my first makeup moment.
