Pat Di Nizio you are Missed
Thank You 🙏 for
The Great Music
"ESPECIALLY FOR YOU" IS ONE OF THE GREATEST DEBUT RECORDS OF ALL TIME. AND THE GREAT GRAHAM PARKER STOPS BY TO pay tribute to Sam Cooke.
What a special band and what an awesome voice, RIP PDIZ you are missed! Unplugged was a massive accomplishment at that time The Smithereens!
How cool? MTV Unplugged Episode #1 New Jersey's own Smithereens!
I completely forgot this was ever broadcast, great up load and the sound is perfect.
Two great underrated vocalists.
I remember watching this live and this version of Cupid/chain gang blew me away. So happy that I can see it again.
Would love to see Graham do a guest vocal at one of their shows sometime...
One of the very few people with a voice as unique as Pat, who could do the songs very well
R.I.P Pat DiNizio
:( graham is a great friend of mine, i am certain he is very sad today :(
Love this!
Graham's voice at 110%
This was peak MTV.
You can hear what Cobain must have been listening to... 😉🎶
You’re right, “about a girl” sounds quite a bit like Blood & Roses. He also wrote in his journals that Especially For You was one of his favorite albums.
Heavenly. MTV could be really hip sometimes.
Pat D was The Man.👍
This is great.
love this pairing, Whose idea was this to put these two together..,.
Actually Pat and Graham.
Yes. Pat actually chose Graham to do this gig.
God love ya’ Pat!
I miss you, Pat😢
So damn good!
love you pat
Sweet
Wow what happened to this MTV?
Wait MTV featuring under the radar music. The fact they left their roots of discovering what is new and different is why they are dead today.
Awesome
Awesome, but they really needed to mike up Jim's guitar better. I can barely hear him.
Their bass player was good. Wonder what he's up to these days.
Finally watched a cruddy DVD of this film last week: Roger Vadim. It was very weird indeed. Wish the print was better.
Graham doesn't really suit pop songs but the sound is pretty good , I prefer an edge quality in voices doing popular music
I sing this Sam Cooke song at karaoke.
Did the host joint the band?
Is that Jukes Shear?
