1. Jodi may be old, be she's still got a rockin' body. 2. With long hair, if you dye it red, she literally IS Ariel. 3. I love how she transforms her voice when she sings this song. At this point in her life and career, it might not be a conscious choice, but it's great. Jodi is a consummate performer and not just a singer and I prefer performers over singers. When one performs a song, as opposed to just singing it, the song changes and becomes more than a song. That's when emotions are stirred and magic happens. 4. I also love that the childlike innocence that was core to Ariel is also a part of Jodi. Such a pure performance.
