In Kenya, best you can do is maybe visit an Insurance Agency. If you have an Austrian Spouse, it would be easier for you if he organizes the Insurance from here
Thanks for this wonderful content, applying for family reunion, will the person first apply for Residence permit and when it approved by the magistrate ,apply for Visa D Secondly the visa extension you talked about does it means going to the magistrate to collect the Residence permit card upon arrival in Austria? Finally what type of Residence Permit is issued to a dependent/spouse that entered Austria through family reunion.
The Type D Visa I talked about is applied fir in your Home Country (might have a different name depending on which country you are from) The Visa you get in your home Country is not a Card yet, this is just stuck on your Passport. When you come to Austria and extend or rather apply for the Residence Permit, then its in Card form. And your Passport Visa is still valid until you get issued with your Residence Permit. The Residence Permit you are issued with is to be renewed again after a Yea, and this Permit will also allow you to work freely while in Austria
This was so informative sure it gonna be helpful for out there. Looking forward to the next obe
