I've a light metallic blue Gs300 basically I was inspired by the same white one you were and yours of course 👌💯🤙 would you go blue tint on the windows or chrome? 😅
2:20 seeing hert's car on those stands with the dudes pushing kinda looks like those movies where the king is carried in his palanquin by his subjects lol.
smooth shop floor is def a must, that tubing being gusseted can probably hold between 12-18k lbs on those stands. unless youre putting f350s on them i dont see an issue
I would feel a lot better about them if they built 2 beams to connect both stands. I picture 1 stand getting hung up and (given enough momentum) tipping. I'd imagine being there and pushing it - it feels much more sturdy than it looks.
Those stands are bad, just need a wheel to break and to everything else to bent when metal hit with car and weight on the floor... you are writing a nonsense...and yes is dangerous but who cares
@@HertLifeYep I agree, he most Certainly is 🎉 You should visit him next time your down under or get him to America for Final bout or lz world tour or something 😊🤙
User error is the only real dangerous part, they could just weld posts next to the castors that are 1/2 to an inch off the ground depending on the bumps/gaps. That way if 1 side folded/gave out it would just be a small drop but falling that whole castor height on a heavy car could be scary. But the idea with some more safety would be solid, I assume they don't connect the 2 halves together with an adjustable middle length to prevent 1 dude doing what 4 should do slowly and carefully lol.
I'd add X cross bracing cotter pinned in for when you roll it around. But they seem sturdy to me. I'd worry about lips and quick stops as people get more complacent with them.
Id build them slightly differently to be functional in my one man shop The only thing i would suggest for this set is a tie bar down the edges to stop the potential for one castor set to get snaged and possibly rock off the wheel But if used as shown carefully and with multiple people i cant see a problem
Those stands do have a touch of sketch to them. Nothing to connect them to each other. Anything other then a reallly nice shop floor would be a receipe for disaster with employees not playing attention. Those stands are "safe" in the right environment.
i wanna see more drift homies built break downs i think it be sick to see that not like supper expensive builds all the time but like cool shit no matter how many zip ties and bn bumpers meshed it took to make one
The only criticism i have for that lift thing, are the wheels. In my opinion it would be a good idea to get larger diameter wheels. Not for strength, but for less rolling resistance and less prone to get stuck on a stone or Crack/ joint on cement.
Those stands still look sketchy despite their construction! Imagine one one them getting caught on something on the floor and flipping ... that's a lot of weight comign down! I'd feel safer if the two of them were joined by a bar (ideally adjustable/lockable to accomodate for wheel bases, and/or they held the car on the jack points instead of the wheels.
I've been dreaming about jzx100 chaser tourer-v for so long but everytime I see a lowered and widebodied gs300 it makes me want to buy one. I wish I was rich so I could support my carcaine but unfortunately I'm not so I'll just get the chaser one day
How come there's still no content for Nappyboy automotive??? We seen the heist video Tpain is working on but man we all been waiting a Looong time since the announcement of you working for em.
That has to be the most sketchy thing i’ve seen when it comes to storing and moving cars..I wouldn’t trust those castors…But apparently it works, until it doesn’t..
No hate on the stands at all looks dope, however seeing the plasti gauge on the table during engine assembly is interesting for a shop, but not hating they are getting shit done
looks a lil sketch. could move a car with 2 people if it had adjustable full length bars at the bottom. the top gonna jiggle a bit but the bottom is framed and you can still access the top with the lift arms. you loose compact storage for a lil bit of more 2-man drop safety. hmm. garage hacks. xtra nice video quality on the engine build. like a preroll to a good p*rn flick. this engine gonna move things. yo... :D
WTF is dude Tq'in with a 2 foot extension for???? spin the crank till caps are up top and only use a socket no extension Also its not the weight that ppl are worried bout. it that those stands are not connected to each other so they will pivot and sitting under front wheels is easier to pivot. u pushing along and catch a crack/bolt/ ziptie with the front stand its gonna suddenly stop but momentum carries letting the front fall over. If both stands are connected it would have to lift the entire car off the ground to flip. gotta be hella slow and keeping an eye on floor debris 100% of the time.
cause if something catches a caster or corner of the lift 1 rack will stop but the other is still carrying momentum which leads to tipping over. if both racks are linked together the stopping force its applied to both equally at the same time and cant flip over. imagine taking 2 office chairs and sitting in 1 and putting ur feet in the other. have 1 person pull 1 chair and someone else push the other. If guy in back suddenly stops you keep going and ur feet hit the floor. but if the chairs was locked together and same thing happened, everyone would stop in place and ur butt and feet would still be in each seat

@HertLife doesn't every shop and alot of the boy's in japan use the same concept. These one's would hold a bloody truck
2:20 seeing hert's car on those stands with the dudes pushing kinda looks like those movies where the king is carried in his palanquin by his subjects lol.
People on the Internet will always talk crap about anything. Obviously those stands are mint. A nice smooth shop floor probably helps a lot
Because if someone isn't paying attention and pushed 1 side it could fall. Both ends not being connected is dangerous

@Jumany2 what you're writing is nonsense. Those are casters and they're rated for far more weight than that car, did you watch the video?
Whoever does the beats is killing it!
@@Soulgasm08 Haake. U can hear the producer tags in the song, "haake, let it eat".
"Engineered to Slide" made them stands popular, he is where James Deane got the Idea too. He's a genius 👌🤙💯

I remember seeing Nigel’s but seeing them
Roll through a shop like this makes them seem even more practical. 👏🏼
Remember when this car was suppose to be his daily? Man we have come so far. I can't wait to see what's next for the GS
"Simple" build. 😂 I'd hate to see his version of complex
This is my favorite build bud. Home wrenching. I remember when you put the 2J in at the house. Keep rocking dude.
Zero sketch on my side, well built. I really like it.
I was wondering how those cars got up there....DUH makes sense. Brilliant!!!!
As long as you have a good flat smooth floor it’s a great idea. I am surprised there’s no brace between the separate stands👍🤘😜
Sweet idea
Dart block for life best block u can own

love the stand idea! You can also store wheels on them if no car is on it.
Love this stuff!! The slight fisheye FOV and stabilizing did almost make me nauseous but keep the content coming!!!
I'd add X cross bracing cotter pinned in for when you roll it around. But they seem sturdy to me. I'd worry about lips and quick stops as people get more complacent with them.
Those stands are a great idea!
the lift dollys are dope !! wish i had some for home haha
Tamiya snap kit is goated
Those stands are rad!
Love the stands. They should sell plans. I’d rock em.
Those stands are dope! I see them in serialnine videos too. Kevin's IS300/Altezza sat on a set for a while too.

Looks safe to me, these guys are doing good work
Those stands are sick.
Lots of shops in Europe do the stands. James Deane in Ireland has cars on stands like that too.
I wanna those stands haha good work
My only concern is the two not being connected is one lift decided to say catch something it could rock and that’s what would be sketchy
with the gussets and overall width of the stands your dealing with more compression force downward then bending force.
The skirts are shredded 😂
Those stands do have a touch of sketch to them. Nothing to connect them to each other. Anything other then a reallly nice shop floor would be a receipe for disaster with employees not playing attention. Those stands are "safe" in the right environment.
0:01 Why'd that piston going in and out make my pants tighter? 🤣 Looks good bro!

Damn you got OSHA opps following Hert. That’s crazy!
1/8 of an inch DOM steel is just as safe as the lift, we've got a similar rack system in our shop, but our don't roll, our lift does.
it does LOOK sketchy as hell lmao
Top GS
Y'all need to look up the engineered to slide TH-cam and see his car stands and how he gets the cars up and down
I commented this earlier too he made them popular
Hert. The new profile pic is hands down better. This might sound stupid but I would miss your videos because I didn't recognize your thumbnail.
Intelligent idea
Commenting for the algorithm because hert is the king
I've been dreaming about jzx100 chaser tourer-v for so long but everytime I see a lowered and widebodied gs300 it makes me want to buy one. I wish I was rich so I could support my carcaine but unfortunately I'm not so I'll just get the chaser one day
Looks like something they can use for cars in Florida
Sheeeeshhhhh gold pistons 😮😮😮😮 bruhhh you craycray ❤
Those poor side skrrrts!! :D
Simple seat time car stands?
The joys of the casual viewer I guess, looks safe to me.
Cool brother love the content 👌👌
Those stands do look kinda sketchy but dude has more than 1 set, I would say they work..
Quite the thumbnail
Rolling around on the stands was way smoother than if you were just trying to push it on the ground. Its a gangster idea.
If james deane can do it they can do it
Would be dope if you do a video of measurements and type of steel so I can make me some of those stands asap
Is this a front sump or rear sump 2j? If it's front sump, do you run a baffle kit in the oil pan?
Yo those racks 4 the cars are lit… if i had hoists id have some them :D
Big bro
@dirtheadDave you could buy more cars with some of these
what did you use to film this, seems very wobbly
Anyone that thought those were sketchy have never seen the photos of the cars in Japan that are sitting on oil drums lmao
How come there's still no content for Nappyboy automotive??? We seen the heist video Tpain is working on but man we all been waiting a Looong time since the announcement of you working for em.
Because it’s not done yet.
That PC looks sick! What case is that? I need to upgrade mine
Yes!!!!!!
Regardless of the stand strength, what happens when one end of the car rolls off the stand? The car should never rest on its wheels
Maybe I should’ve gave a closer look but in some parts you can see the wheels are recessed and can’t just roll.
It does look a little sketchy, But, as the saying goes… “it ain’t stupid if it works “….
So this wasnt a build breakdown, because the build is already broken down :D
Sweet and sour sauce for the pistons
GTE block has oil squirters GE blocks don’t that’s the only difference between the blocks, same crank. Toyota didn’t make it easy to convert tho
Ngl…it does look sketch af but it’s good. Imagine if the stands were remote control 🤔
The raycons sound great but the update sucks imo. I miss the push buttons. The touch pads are so finicky
People don’t like the stands but will trust foam race ramps.
What is your wheel spec
They should get that patented before someone steals the idea
How close was ur roof on that lift lol jezz
i wish someone would hold me like those dollies do :'(
That has to be the most sketchy thing i’ve seen when it comes to storing and moving cars..I wouldn’t trust those castors…But apparently it works, until it doesn’t..
Make the patent quick
Tracklist plz :)
👍🏻👌🏻💪🏻
JD got one in his shop too lol why people talking crap about it lol
? AWD for the Cheap 👽Chevy or Honda 800hp daily 0to60 faster than a Tesla too
Hit a big lip and one of the stands stops..... Spooky

The people who think it is sketch are those people who buy sketchy equipment for cheap.
looks a lil sketch. could move a car with 2 people if it had adjustable full length bars at the bottom. the top gonna jiggle a bit but the bottom is framed and you can still access the top with the lift arms. you loose compact storage for a lil bit of more 2-man drop safety. hmm. garage hacks.

Engineers developed air filled rubber to hold your car up and y'all are worried about steel? What do I know? Which is sketchier?
Is it the height?
