@@suezuccati304 I see what you're coming from but dude, there are so many of them to even name one... Wait, Frayed Ends Of Sanity's bridge riff (the fast one) is something that comes to my mind quite often.
@@suezuccati304 not exactly thrash but Dismember (oldschool death metal so pretty much just brutal thrash) has some killer riffs, all of the massive killing capacity album is amazing also entombed - left hand path. Both are two great early death metal albums. Vektor - Pillars of sand is an excellent progressive thrash song and finally Exodus has some great riffs I recommend Bonded By Blood and Exhibition A: The Atrocity Exhibition as their best albums. Along with tempo of damned and pleasures of the flesh as the good but not great Exodus albums. I hope that gives you some good bands to look for. Edit: Sarcofago, Sodom, and Destruction are three good band from the blackened thrash scene like Sepultura
I'd known of Sepultura for over 20 years, never listened to a song. 2 months ago, I listened to Dead Embryonic Cells for the 1st time. A significant moment in my life (similar to listening to Metallica - One for the 1st time), I'm 33 years old. At the breakdown for the 1st time, I wanted to mimic my breathing to the guitar riff, close my eyes, and then just headbang. ❤️🙏
@@henriquemontalvao8492 *Played, unfortunately. But it would be so cool if he came back to Sepultura one day and play this and the songs from Arise again live.
According to Songsterr and Ultimate guitar they are saying E standard. My guess is either E standard, Eb, or D standard. I can't see the song being any lower than D.
At 3:26 I can't quite figure out what you did. Cause the tabs I've found all tell to fret two dyads at the 3rd and 2nd fret, A and D strings, resulting in inverted G and F# power chords. Which obviously you didn't and it sounded fine nonetheless. The last chord is weird too, because to my ears it sounds like an E♭, but how could you get it without detuning the guitar or the low E string? If you do you'll end up fucking the pedal tones on the rest of the song, which require an E natural. So, what tuning you used and what did you do on that section? 😆
Thanks! :D It was quite a while ago, but I use Guitar Rig 5 for most of my recordings, one of the metal presets based on a Marshall JCM800 (I think the preset is called "Heavy 800"). I don't think I had an effects in the solo. You can probably hear a kind of chorus effect, where my improv solo blends over the original one.
2:30 She marches. With pain.

this shit is probably the sickest riffing in the entire thrash metal
There are so many like that, but I can't argue with you honestly.
@@Cthulhu_Awaken would be nice if you recomended me a couple ones

If you do an inverted powerchord (A: 1 D: 1) you get an Eb power chord
@@themuse321 I get it, but it sounds slightly higher pitched than what you hear on the album. Must have some hidden overdub.
