Looks like an Amazing Ride. I so miss living in Alaska. Without a doubt Alaska was my favorite duty station while in the military. Our unit used to deliver Christmas toys up and down the Yukon just before Christmas to the interior villages. Fly into Galena, go south first Koyukuk, Nulato, and Kaltag. Then we would run North Ruby and Tanana. Fred Huntington was our guide and his dad Sidney always had a great story to tell us. Great channel Clay and keep the great content rolling. Cheers🍻🍻🍻🍻

@@claytona74 Yah my husband and I enjoy watching these videos. We moved up north in February and we’re looking to buy a snow machine to go mess around on the fields. I haven’t gone riding in years over 10+ years and my husband has 1 time ride experience and that was longer then 10 years ago lol so watching your other channel and you teaching her and the kids how to ride and your little tips and tricks refreshed my mind and also showed me some new pointers. So thanks for the education 👍🏽😬
I put a 2500 pound winch on my 2023 extreme .. not for me but my buddies skinny sleds that get stuck. haha. nice video. looks alot like Aroostook county in Maine
Beautiful landscape,I’m very interested in either ski doo extreme or Polaris titan adventure for deep snow and ice fishing,any advice or opinions on which one would be best. Thanks for the video.
My biggest suggesting would be to wait and see what Polaris puts out this year as their Titan. It's overdue for a chassis update and should be seeing the 850 as well. If not, I'd go Expedition. They will both be great sleds for deep snow and ice fishing. Both capable works and a ton of fun when the sled gets unhooked and you get to squeeze the throttle.
Honestly it's been everything I could ask for from a fun stand point. The 850 motor really moves the sled around. Yes it's not quite as playful as the 800 Axys RMK I sold when I bought this but this sled literally does everything I could ask it to do and I have a big ass grin while doing it!
How much are you using throttle to initiate your turns? If you're doing the rest of the things right, you should be able to be carving while sitting down on your sled. Don't me wrong even when sitting I'm using my body weight but that's just a small part of carving.
In Alaska the best we can get is 90, which is what I run. However on the river I could only get 87. Called the dealer and they said my timing would adjust automatically and the sled ran the 87 just fine.

Definitely one of my favorite parts of snowmachining. You get to see places that are almost impossible to get to any other time of the year.

Do you stand neutral when doing this carving mostly, or wrong foot forward?
I'm neutral. I rarely find the need to go wrong foot unless I'm just goofing around. Weight transfer/balance, throttle and skis do all the work.

I try to say with 91 but have used 87 before
