So...did it work so far? I've heard of mixed results with aftermarket gaskets on forums and such... My local dealership wanted $270 to do this...crazy. For the time, I tightened the screws down a bit since they were loose as well as placing a bead of RTV silicone around the edges as a stopgap until I decide what will definitely work. Ordered same gasket. Way too thick. Wouldn’t allow the clips to snap in place. Ended up just using some good gasket maker and laying a good bead.
So they don’t jst sit flush after, having same fitting issue not snapping in right does it still leak like that?
