@Nochilus_Jr I haven’t gotten it yet. However, it really all depends on your state that you live in. Most cops, at least in my state, will not pull you over for having a loud exhaust unless it’s so loud that it’s disturbing the public. The Ecoboost isn’t really capable of producing enough sound to be an issue especially with the mbrp, so I think you should be alright.
I have a no name exhaust that sounds crazy different from everyone’s it’s super throaty, it’s sucks if I try recording it, it’s sounds nothing like it does in person. Just a Y pipe and 2 bottles mufflers closer to the end. Always getting compliments how it sounds. Wanna get a downpipe to see how crazy it gets, if it changes it.
Really disappointed y'all stopped making the intake manifold and big turbo kit for the ecoboost. I sent allot of customers before I found out they were both discontinued.
My favorite exhaust for the EcoBoost is cattless downpipe to tomie exhaust, but I went with cobb catted downpipe with cobb exhaust because I found it for only 600
It's close between the MAP and the Magnaflow. Both of them remind of slightly louder versions of my stock 2012 V6 Mustang which I thought, sounded pretty good. The MAP sounds a bit more raw and aggressive, which some people would prefer. I'm an older guy with tinnitus in one ear, so I prefer the Magnaflow, because it's a bit smoother and less harsh. When I was younger, I would have chosen the MAP.

Drowning depends on the system, the louder the system (under normal) conditions, taking in consideration manufacturing, material used, some systems do real well and maintain a good sound quality, Borla is great but carries a large price tag. I opted for the Race one and I'm not too happy with it, there is a lot of drowning, the pipes use thin walls, that is part of the issue, but then again weight is, for some ,very important. The street might be better, but still if the steel walls are thin you will have drowning, might have to turn up the stereo to drown the drowning! 😅🤣😂 The overall tone is great but yeah lots of drowning for a daily, I don't think so. my 2 cents anyways.
