What an absolute credit to the human race you are Adam. Most people (including me) would have loved to do something this selfless but wouldn’t have actually made the time and followed through. Someone spent a lot of time and money on those fish and I’m sure they would be astounded knowing what you’ve done to give them a home. Couldn’t have turned out better.
Ah brilliant Adam. This made my day. Some lovely fish in the end, so hardy and robust to survive such poor conditions, living in luxury now. Thanks for your compassion and effort. Top man. 👍
Came to this channel at the beginning of you discovering them and now they are finally in a safe place. It's been amazing seeing you rescue these fish, and a great journey. Would love to see you doing more rescue work in the future.
Kudos to you for all the effort and time you spent looking after some else s abandoned fish considering you couldn't even see them in the pond. Some very nice and good size koi in the group. Amazing that they did so well having been neglected for so long. Hopefully you'll be able to good homes for all of them. Cheers.👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
Not a bad ending for the rescued Kois. Well Done Adam! Perhaps these rescued fish should kept together for another 6 months or so, before being put up for adoption or gradually socialized with your other tanks.
Don’t usually comment on videos but had to say well done and thank you for all you did for those fish, been watching the updates as they have come along and so glad to see it all sorted, you should be really proud of yourself and deserve the great karma you will get for it 👍🏻
Well done top man glad you never gave up shows what passion you have for this hobbie ,so happy you ended up with the fish they will certainly be cared for now x
well done! so glad those fish are now in your hands and we can now actually view them haha! all very beautiful fish! at least now they will be cared for like royalty! thank you adam!
Thankyou for saving these beautiful fish , not an easy job by the sounds of it due to the stupidity of greedy humans , I’m sure the owner loved them and would be very greatfull that you have saved them x
Quite incredible really considering that except with your intervention, those fish had poor filtration, little to no food, no heat and they mainly all have a decent body. Incredible.
Wow what a journey and what perseverance on your part. Who’d of thought Some real beauties were lurking in that water. Amazed they were as healthy as they seem.
I'm so happy they are in your care to live nice life with you get them bigger and get them feeding of ur hand that be amazing to see that on this channel keep the good work up u do amazing job at looking after koi I'm just so happy they are with you it's not about the money it's about the care for them
Great Video Adam, really happy you took over the care of the Fish. Some really Nice one there. And to say they could have been taken better care of, because were just left to take care of themselves before you came along. They look real Healthy and fit.
Well done Adam for looking after them for all this time. I'm sure you will either give them a good home or find them a good home well done mate 👍 I guessed 15 so I was close 🤣
I guessed 24 on the assumption that there would be far more small ones and just a handful of big ones. I don't know if you ever told us the actual ownership situation so I have assumed it was a case of a deceased owner and the property being handled by lawyers or a family heir who was unwilling to let go of any potential asset while the estate was under escrow or whatever. It's so fortunate you took it upon yourself to be guardian of the fishes' welfare.
I do miss your video,s so more please. I don’t have fish myself for various reasons so get my fix from people like you. I’ve always thought peoples ponds are over filtered and this itself I feel can cause problems. I think this pond sort of backs up my theory. How bad was that water yet the fish were not to bad. I love ponds that are set in the Earth and look more natural I hate those brick built monsters rising out of the earth so unnatural looking. So it’s a shame that this pond was filled in. I understand having most of the pond out of the ground has advantages ie digging out. That’s just my view. So pleased you rescued those fish WELL DONE YOU !!
Great job , turns out some nice fish in there , big too , the pond they were in wasnt a bad size by the look . Fair play with the dropsy treatment , i always thought it very difficult to treat successfully
Thanks 🙂. Dropsy is difficult to treat as its usually organ failure in this case it was cause by bad water probably causing the fishes kidneys or liver to struggle with pollutants so salt helps by removing the pollutants from the fish through osmosis giving the fish time to recover.
I have just come across your wonderful video. Thank you for rescuing these beautiful fish. I was wondering what you used to treat the fish with Dropsy. Also is it possible to treat fantail goldfish in an aquarium? Any info would be much appreciated
Some lovely fish you've saved there, fair play bud Any tips on how to help koi become more social? I have 8 koi in my 1000 gallon round pond that they have been in for around a year and they are still pretty shy Cheers Aaron
Koi don’t need heat just an area for gasses exchange? The pea color is because you need a uv light in the filter? Just confused why you brought them in for the winter.
I’ve been watching your videos for years and find you really interesting I have some issues of my own with my pond and was wondering if you do private work Let me know. Ken
hi mate ive just moved into a house with 2 outdoor ponds that have do fish in and pretty much only rain water and toads breed in it and owners used chlorine to kill the toads and leachers that have been living in it any advice were to even start on something as neglected as this and well it ever be fish friendly again? never done anything with ponds but in the aquarium hobby my whole life like 8 tanks in a house type stuff n breeding all different fish. so not complete noob but yer im at a hands on head with these ponds.
You can determine the fish age by loocking at their scales, its preety much the same with trees. the scales have rings, winter rings. You count the rings on the scales and that will give you how many winters that fish lived.
Nice done! Too much fat in diet (vitamin A) can create sceliosis in fish. Some species has a high tolerance and some has low. Polar bear has super high tolerance:)
Hi Adam I have a problem with Nitrate and was wondering if you could help. My problem is the trickle feed for the Profi Drum, although I have a chlorine, Di Resin, & charcoal pre filter for the tap water, I'm still adding Nitrate to the pond through the tap. Do you have a Nitrate Resin Remover filter on any of your ponds? and would you mind showing it if so.

I’m so glad you got them, been following your journey with them and I think the previous owner can RIP now knowing you saved his babies ❤️
Ah brilliant Adam. This made my day. Some lovely fish in the end, so hardy and robust to survive such poor conditions, living in luxury now. Thanks for your compassion and effort. Top man. 👍
Wow its amazing how healthy they are considering the state of the water. Lovely fish. I loved the white too!
The white koi are my favorite. I loved the tricolors as well. I used to have a koi pond….I miss it terribly.
Came to this channel at the beginning of you discovering them and now they are finally in a safe place. It's been amazing seeing you rescue these fish, and a great journey. Would love to see you doing more rescue work in the future.

You have done so much for that pond and them fish. Well done mate
Really nice of you to take these on after looking after them over the time sure they are much happier now
Not a bad ending for the rescued Kois. Well Done Adam!
Perhaps these rescued fish should kept together for another 6 months or so, before being put up for adoption or gradually socialized with your other tanks.
You have done an amazing job looking after the abandoned fish. Not many people would have done what you have done. Well done Adam. Joss and Mark
Don’t usually comment on videos but had to say well done and thank you for all you did for those fish, been watching the updates as they have come along and so glad to see it all sorted, you should be really proud of yourself and deserve the great karma you will get for it 👍🏻
Well done Adam. Some nice looking fish there. It's good you've got them home now and can look after them.

Truly enjoyed your series on the neglected pond. Love the fact that they are out of there! Nice job buddy!

So glad you finally got them home
Great dedication by you mate 👍
We salute your efforts 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Been waiting for an update for a long time, so glad you’re rescuing them
Your tank seems much too small to me to hold so many large fish. I hope this is strictly a temporary housing and not permanent.
Incredible.
Brilliant Adam you have done a amazing job so lucky to have you to look after them stay safe and well
Wow what a journey and what perseverance on your part. Who’d of thought Some real beauties were lurking in that water. Amazed they were as healthy as they seem.
This was pretty cool. Kudos to you for taking care of them.

Ho Lee Carp! I'm slightly jealous 😳. Those fishies are GORG!
I guessed 24 on the assumption that there would be far more small ones and just a handful of big ones.

That was a really nice cardboardygoi koi! Great job top man as always👍
Salts? Against parasites?
The new tank is far too small
