I own a Vanquish 340 and recently the X-Terra pro. I noticed that on the Vanquish 340 the $1 and $2 will almost always show up at 20,21,23. But on the X-Terra Pro, 4 different $2 will give 4 different readings going as high as 79 and as low as 33. Is that expected?

hmm, they shouldn't really vary that much- are you getting that result in an air test (ie waving the coins over the coil) or are they placed on the ground? The Id numbers will be different between the Vanquish and Xterra, but In an air test, they should all be the same (or close to) on each machines Tid numbers. If you have them on the ground, there may be unwanted trash or iron targets changing the id numbers giving a false impression of different id's for the same coin type.

@@MinersDenAustralia thanks for the response. You are correct. I was placing the coins on my wooden floor indoors and I think the nails and other metal under the floor was interfering. When waving the coins in the air the X-Terra pro was giving consistent ID numbers.
That’s interesting that on the wooden floor the Vanquish was consistent. Maybe thanks to Multi-IQ

yes, the multi iq processes signals a little differently so is better able to ignore the iron nails while still id'ing the targets consistently!
