Trying to be ”different" has actually become the new normal and half the time people claim they enjoy clothes in general but the truth is they worship name brands and follow celebrities like sheep. You said something about "the hypebeast has evolved into flexing traditional luxury brands." I was in an Unknown Vlogger Outfit Worth video back in 2017 when I was 15. I am 21 now. I stepped away from streetwear when I started college because the flexxing and brands were just making me feel insecure, because I was more than a walking billboard. Just wore stuff like Patagonia and Ultraboosts for a number of years. Like a year ago I got back into the scene and am rocking stuff from Demna like Vetements and Balenciaga. I think Demna design still has a heavy Iykyk vibe if you aren't getting the gaudy pieces with branding plastered. I think I only wanted a sense of community through fashion without showing the world that I'm a walking billboard, which I think the brand does well in a lot of cases. I think some of the outfits are doing too much but I think we're still in a better time loop than hypebeast era. At least I am, I feel a lot more comfortable with what I wear now than I did all those years ago.
People just have to go back to taking inspiration from fictional tv show characters for their style. Personally I’m mixing the Saul Goodman with the Chris Moltisanti. Who knows a year from now it could be Brian Griffin and Jim Halpert.
What I think is the most crazy thing is that these streetwear brands are marked up by probably 4000-5000% of their original cost to manufacture. People put way too much value on branding with no regard for quality.

even the most ridiculous outfits here still look better than box logo supreme and skinny jeans, much prefer this era to 2017 shit probably because this fits my personal taste more
There is absolutely no way that all the people featured in the Rogue videos are wearing real stuff. A little bit suspicious that they are wearing the exact same Balenci pieces that are popular on r/QualityReps, no?
i mean the emma rogue videos get a concentration of the worst dressed people in nyc as she only features people who buy something or people she is working with. But the only people who want to work with her and shop with her are corny trendy dressed people. So i dont believe this represents nyc's fashion scene quite that well but it does represent the type of people who shop at her store and associate themselves with her.
Honestly most of time i think to hear the brand, then to try to dress of how they would dress, with the patterns and styles and colors, is like a funny challange i do. My favourite so far is the Balenciaga vibe, and often Gucci, when i go for Balenciaga inspiration i go fully black shirt matte shirt, black leather tie, long leather coat, balenciaga like weird glasses for the touch, with my western black cowboy hat, and semi matte black suit trousers, with a plain black belt, and it has that Balneciaga vibe to it, when i go for Gucci ,i love to go for Brown suit jacket, and often if i want to go full into it, i go for brown suit shirt, with a white tie, eventualy a tie that has some green+red on it, and a black belt, with the brown suit trousers that have same pattern as jacket, my white cowboy hat, and eventualy if i feel like i spice it with some neon like green glasses with rhynestones (i worn them in my pfp), not the best green i could find 💀💀💀but does the job, anyway that's just an idea, or if i just don't want to inspire my self from anything, i just go for full white, white tie, white shirt, white suit pant, gold bucklet belt with white belt, and golden jewlery ,and my white cowboy hat!!
the modern ahrimanic leviathan causes commodification of self (through commodification of the entirety of the realm of human life (social media being key in this proccess of persona-ification (the only things that exist about yourself are those only externally visible, there is no "soul" or inner realm of being.) thus people act like fools on the internet for societal status? chuds... i think the west has....

100% Money can't buy taste, and WHO STILL WEARS Balenciaga with the Yee connection
another banger by the underground goat of fashion discourse and consoomerism. is this what end stage capitalism looks like? O_O
even the most ridiculous outfits here still look better than box logo supreme and skinny jeans, much prefer this era to 2017 shit probably because this fits my personal taste more
There is absolutely no way that all the people featured in the Rogue videos are wearing real stuff. A little bit suspicious that they are wearing the exact same Balenci pieces that are popular on r/QualityReps, no?
Yume nikki mall song at the end
People flexing buying something for retail or above will be the death of me.

Embrace tradition
saying what they think they should say and not what they believe, yupyup
I don't let the algorithm dress me, I'm a throwing fit listener! 🤓
Yes bro!! 5-inch inseam shorts and Birkenstocks!!!
i mean the emma rogue videos get a concentration of the worst dressed people in nyc as she only features people who buy something or people she is working with. But the only people who want to work with her and shop with her are corny trendy dressed people. So i dont believe this represents nyc's fashion scene quite that well but it does represent the type of people who shop at her store and associate themselves with her.

we going thru same shit just on different apps now
I’m so sick of fashion content A lot of these kids think they’re elevated by throwing on some chrome hearts and Balenciaga
this is top shelf aged single estate cringe, exquisite.
holy shit you’ve returned i’ve missed you pookie 😭😭
How are they able to afford these outfits?
We’re so back!
balenciaga really the new supreme
Idk bout that 😭
Honestly most of time i think to hear the brand, then to try to dress of how they would dress, with the patterns and styles and colors, is like a funny challange i do.
@@ProdGothicyou're right it's even more cringe somehow
Haters gonna hate, gators gonna gate
I had no clue this was even happening again☠️
