When I was in Pakistan and attended marriage of my cousin in South Punjab in 1995,I saw Zafar as Assistand "'Pand"' with his Ustad.Long before in an Interview he told that long time he was with is Ustad as "'Pand"'in marriage ceremonies.He even told the name of his Ustad(I had forgotton) in that interview. Now he has beome even famous in Indian Punjab so he Changed his Background.He not want to tell his Indian Viewers that like Most of Stage Actors he also belong to ""That Family"'. He Must feel Shame to forget his Past and Ustad,Now he Changed from"" Pand to Hero"".
