So… Axl buffs are absolutely crazy. I didn’t have much of a problem fighting Axl pre-patch but oh my god is he a handful to deal with after the patch XD I already felt like he was pretty decent so with him being buffed, he might be a low-high tier at the moment. He is a lot more fun to watch though because he’s able to do more cool stuff especially with the rainwater loops. It’s definitely gonna take time re-learning the Axl matchup as I-no… That tornado doesn’t ever go away I swear it lasts for ever! XD (Also when’s the next I-no video we haven’t had one in a while…)
Damn, both of them are noticeably faster. Johnny was straight up buffed in that regard, so no surprises here. Axl however looks faster but he really shouldn't be. Is this speed just a result of Axl players being more confident in their offense?
I have 2 theories: 1- both of these characters have good range on their moves, so maybe in this matchup Axl has to position himself more often to wall out Johnny. 2- 2P and 5H are significantly better combo moves in the new patch, so Axl has some new routes/ways to push his offense, leading to the new stuff feeling fast.
The best characters have been around since patch 1.0 and have been popular throughout all 3 seasons, and this is undebatable. However, now they are introducing more and more pay-to-win characters and buffing and polishing the entire DLC roster. The Strive developers seem to be completely biased towards certain characters and favoring them over others. I believe that everyone deserves equal treatment, not just a few favorites and DLC characters. The Strive community has always claimed that their game was balanced, but that is simply not true. When some characters were ignored in patch notes and were swapped out by the best players, others received constant attention and love from the developers. It seems that this game and community have a rotten core.

You are now trying to move on to discussing other games, but this does not interest me. Even the old parts of GG were better balanced at the TOP level, where each character had an almost unlimited skill cap. Strive at the TOP level is a dead-end match and a one-goal game for most of the characters from the lower middle of the roster. Please filter your words better next time.

nobody is saying strive is balanced. strive isn't the only game with these biases. sol has literally been good in every game, same with slayer.
