I am not a therapist or anything but I heard from a therapist that fights are always about a. Money, b. Dominance/ whos right, c. Betrayal/ mistrust, d. the past……. If you really think about it there is a bigger meaning to why you got sad/angry in the first place…. And most of the time it has nothing to do with whatever you were arguing about. The best advice I got from my suegro was, when you have a fight just separate, as in you go to the store or just go to the living room, but separate. If you guys are in the same room more than likely one of y’all will say something that will hurt the other and things will get worse….. Sending you guys lots of love! I love the podcast💕

First of all I love this podcast! I definitely agree those ppl that paint this perfect relationship online are the ones who fight and brrak up all the time...they just put up this front for social media. My husband and I are definitely not perfect but we are happy we don't have crazy fights but we do have disagreements like any helthy relationship does.

It wasn't my intention but maybe it was the way I had said it it's it all started because we were in Mexico right and she decided to at that I'm sorry at that time I used to have only two kids now I have three but she used to like my first born God she got her gifts she got her she send gifts to us over here and when we were over there for the first time that I had taken her grandchildren she decided to go off and buy my oldest Golden earrings right and she comes back to her house we were there and you know she gives them to her and she's like oh you're so beautiful yada yada and I have a my second born as a son so I was like waiting for her to get something out for my my son too right and no nothing and then I was like nothing for Tito and she's like oh no these were just my oldest and I looked at her and I was like why okay long story short when I was growing up it was me and my brother right I was the oldest he's the youngest and he always used to get favoritized for everything so I was like always like hating on my brother because of the same reason that he always got better stuff than I did he was always getting more attention than I did so I always said to myself when I have kids I never want them to feel this way because I know what it feels like to be you know the loved child I guess and they're not love child so I will always I'm always specific with my mom with my mother in law with my grandma like if you want one or if you're going to get for one if it's a birthday thing okay I understand it's his birthday or her birthday you know but if it's like a random thing that you're going to go off and buy if you know like if you're going to go buy one buy all but if you can't afford all then don't buy none that's the way I am and I've always said it since they were little so that hurt me that day and I was like okay but like what about my son like you went and got earrings for no apparent reason what an earrings and then nothing for your grandson I looked at her and she looked at me and I was like that's not fair I told her like that it's not fair and I was like I don't like I don't want my child children to feel this way to feel anger towards each other because once getting favorites and the other one isn't so she walked away like she walked away and at that time when we had gone I had taken my grandmother with me so she she was in the trip with me and my grandmother said she saw her cry after we had that discussion it wasn't my intention it was I was trying to prove a point you know she raised my husband and he was raised by himself his grandmother raised him pretty much and then she raised her other daughter all by herself so they never got to like be siblings you know what I mean and I'm like they don't know what they don't know what it feels like to be like that she's only had one child at a time cuz they're like almost 16 17 years apart so I'm like yeah I'm particular when it comes to that it wasn't nothing physical yeah I made her cry I wasn't my intention like I feel bad at the end but I wanted to prove my point it's hard and now that I have three kids I hate when one gets chosen more to oh my oldest usually always gets chosen more and be like can she come with me and I was like okay once is fine then if you want to do it all the time and then the other ones feel outsiders I don't like that so I will tell you no it's just the way I am because I know what it feels like to not be the chosen one to not be the one that would get things and I don't like my kids to feel that way so I'm particular with that and my and I will let you know trust me cuz I or sometimes other things I hate is when you try to tell me how to raise my kids when I know that you you know obviously we all try our best to raise our kids and I know I'm known I know I'm not perfect and I know I don't know everything but some things that let's say my mom tells me something and now and then when I was growing up I was like okay and I couldn't compare like that's not right or whatever I'm like yeah no we're not doing it that way

STORYTIME! I have one of the MIL that only talks to me when my boyfriend is around. She has only seen my 6 month old daughter 5 times, my 16 month old son 7-8 times nd she lives down the street.She has suggested that "if" her son would "ever" marry me, it will only be to elope because I'm not bougie enough for the big wedding. She can see me with the kids out & if im not with her son, she will completely us. She always talks down on me & I just told my boyfriend that if he can't stand up for ne, I will have to move on from the relationship.
