For the race engineer fix, I'm guessing on discord? I can't remember the exact steps, but I turned my discord output into its own audio capture so it would be separate from my game audio. So, you'll have a game audio capture, discord capture, and microphone output capture (and anything else), that you can separate in editing and mute in Streamlabs when you stream (of course, you'll still be able to hear it). Not sure if this is the fix you are looking for but I hope it helps!
Yeah, it's built in functionality of OBS Studio. It's not super new, but also not an old feature and Streamlabs OBS usually is a few months behind in terms of features Edit: Jarno said in the video he uses the game capture audio. The audio crackling is really odd, I had that myself as well over the last few f1 games and usually reinstalling windows audio drivers and changing the audio khz value in OBS between 44.1 and 48 helped a bit, but not always :/
It might be a convoluted way to do things but I used to have my game audio in headphones but engineer/teammate chat through a separate set of earphones that were underneath the headphones. Then again...that was a while ago and I was on console, not PC. 😊
Jarno you could use programs to split your audio into different lanes. That way you could record normally and just not report your engineer by excluding his lane
I felt like Thomas purposely slowed down in the last lap as he felt that closing on Otis would definitely bring in Jarno for the fight for the win. And Jarno also had more battery to use, slightly better tyres and more straight-line speed.
The audio crackling is as far as I know a Windows 11 issue that will be fixed in the 24H2 update. You can get it right now as an insider, pre-release is Sep 24th, full release is Oct 8th. I'm waiting for pre or full, as I don't want the extra telamentery that comes with being an insider.
If you want stream to hear your engineer all you have to do is setup another audio capture and make it capture all the discord sounds or whatever using to call. On OBS its called application audio captrue (beta). Hope I could help :)
@@OCinneide I misread the comment but adding the sources through application captures is still the way. You would then just mute the discord source and enable all the other sources (f1, chrome, spotify, etc) aswell as the mic instead of having one big windows audio
