The music is already recorded, Geoff in this case, has the vision in his head, but there are usually no rehearsals before they do the video. This is so much fun. Bucky is the drunken sailor who used to be a member of the group 4:2:Five before they changed their name to VoicePlay. He's done a couple of minis with VP but usually he's working at Disney World as a voice actor. I enjoyed your delighted reaction. I have heard from one of the Patrons that you need to be a $5 member to see the behind the scenes. It would be worth it...but I have a 1986 tractor to get fixed, change out all the lights on my 2002 truck when a big branch came off an oak, broke one headlight, windshield, and taillights, and find the key for my 2005 Miata. Then I can be a patron.

Voiceplay recently released a short/mini.... Voiceplay Loops 1. Its a sort of a cool game that Cesar came up with that shows alittle of their behind the scenes. They plan on doing more in the future sometime after November. Right now Voiceplay and Geoff are working on their Halloween videos. Voiceplay is also rehearsing and preparing for their concert in Ocean City NJ November 17&18 singing with Chicago.
The behind the scenes are one of my favorite perks of being a patron. At the $1 level you get to get the early releases and the karaoke tracks, but at the five dollar tier you get to watch the behind the scenes for just about every video and usually a replay of a Web chat that they had with the patrons of the highest tiers.

Yes, that is an D1 subharmonic from Geoff about timestamp 1:23 or so. The drunken sailor is Matthew "Bucky" Buckner, a member of the group back in the 4:2:Five days. He also appears in the minis I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) and Candy Caravan Escapade. He was also the choreographer for Geoff's Monster Mash video. "The doll's name is Clara and she has feelings." Geoff wrote the music and lyrics for the bridge. Fun (or creepy) facts: The lyrics for Drunken Sailor have a darker meaning than what they appear to be. Putting him in the long boat can either mean sticking him in the boat lashed to the side of the ship until the swaying and heaving causes him to be sick and sober up, or to actually put the longboat into the water with the unfortunate pirate inside, having it trail behind the ship at the mercy of the ship's wake. Shaving his belly with a rusty razor might induce tetanus or at least a nasty infection. Sticking him in a scupper (the drain holes on a ship's deck) with a hose pipe on him means to lay him, face up, with his head in a scupper, then to hose him down with cold, disgusting bilge water from the bottom of the ship, Putting him to bed with the Captain's daughter actually means to tie him down on the deck and lash him with a cat-o-nine-tails. By hidden message, did you mean the little thing that showed up saying to pinch and expand the video?
