Must admit the thought of battered chips sounds weird, but my favourite part of fish and chips is the nice batter, so it probably would work... and the sound of that batter when you bite into the fish at 06:35 is amazing.. . That really did look amazing fish and chips!!
I recommend 'louis tea room' near callington, they do crab and calamari, but not sure about lobster, they have amazing food and an even better view while you eat. Also Francine's fish and chips Launceston is the best fish and chips I've ever had.
I lived in Exmouth for most of my life, I'm glad i don't live there anymore but i do miss having easy access to Krispies! The battered chips are amazing!

Fish and chips from Krispies- in Exmouth is well worth a drive over from Sidmouth. 10/10 as far as I'm concerned
