You don’t need to find anything bad in a product. If you like, you like and you shared your thoughts on it - great. I’m not a fan of this trend of “ I have to find 10 good things and 3 bad things” for (fill in reason here). Not trying to be hateful or disrespectful. I like Ziro filament and hope others try it as well. All filament today is so much better than it use to be and most filament today is all made by the same few companies and then rebranded. Thanks for the video.
Agreed! Bad choice of words on my part! I know I'll be trying more of their filaments. I was blown away by the results. And including the spare bag, sample filament and cleaner is a nice touch on their part! I'm a fan! Thanks for the words of support and thanks for watching!
Always great content, thank you for sharing. I found your filament calibration video very helpful and started calibrating all my filaments but lost them all upgrading to Creality print 5.1. Started over and now have lost them again. There has to be some way of backing the saved data.
I had that problem of losing my profiles in the previous version. I started exporting them after every change. I haven't lost them recently, but if I do, I can just re-import them!
@@Gyvalor It would be a short one! lol. In Creality Print, click on file in the upper left hand corner and select "Export" and then click "Preset Config". It'll make a zip file with your printer & material profiles and ask you where you want to save it! Give it a go!
I build all of my profiles by starting with one of Creality Print's Generic Profiles. For example, if I'm using a new PLA brand I'll use Creality's Generic PLA profile, speeds and all. Then I'll run the calibrations with those same speeds. It's also the reason I do a max volumetric flow calibration and let that control my speed.
I like all the Ziro brand filament I've tried. I've tried wood, once, and it didn't turn out well. Was real stringey, but I'm going to try it again, when I get a chance.
That's why I wanted a wood color, but not wood filament! I don't print enough models where wood would help! But I am a Ziro fan after trying this Matte Wood PLA!
@@pushingplastic7445 Can you try a benchy with tpu 95a on your K1 Max? I can't get a good one. It always messes up on the chimney. I might try 2 at once and see if that works. I do a lot of gaskets and stuff with tpu, without problems, but bugs me that I can't get a completely good benchy. ;)
@@funfun8095 I'm printing off K1 Max TPU setup (overhead) right now so I can that. I have some old black Overture TPU laying around I'll be using for this. It's been sitting around for about 2-3 years. I'll run it through a dryer and give it a go!
@@pushingplastic7445 OK, cool. Yeah, I dry my tpu overnight before I use it. I can't wait to see how it goes. I've literally printed 20 of them, trying to line it out and like I said. I haven't had issues printing anything else with it and usually print at 35mm/s
Thanks Gary! I do use Creality Print but not exclusively. I still use Cura, Bambu Studio and Orca Slicer as well. But I've noticed that there wasn't a lot of support or videos out there to help people who are getting started and using Creality Print. I do like Creality Print 5.1, they've made some great changes from previous versions when it was known more of a Cura knock-off. Now it can pretty much compete with most slicers out there. I wish I could've gotten my hands on one of the K2's so I could see how well the multi color slicing compares to Bambu Studio. What are you using as your slicer these days?
@@pushingplastic7445 Thank you for your reply Bill. I've always used Creality Print for slicing with my K1, as I found it a bit complicated to use the other slicers, plus, I'm new to 3D printing; I think I've had my K1 for about 10 months now. I didn't like Creality Print 5.0 so I stuck with Creality Print 4.3.8.7058, now some bugs have been sorted and extra features have been added to V5.1, I might give it a go. I like the K2, with it's 350mm x 350mm x 350mm build plate; it's about time multi color printing was available, I heard a multi color kit will be available for the K1, K1c and K1 max; it will be interesting what comes out next. It's 5.30pm Friday here in Perth, Western Australia. Thank you again and have a great day. Regards Gary
For my K1 Max I like Creality Print and Orca slicer. The interface is very similar making it easy to jump between the two. Also, the Bambu interface looks much like the other two. They are all based off of each other, as well as Prusa slicer and super slicer.
Awesome for newcomers!
Awesome! I'm glad to hear that.! It was the motivation factor behind this channel!!! Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!!!

I'm considering a M1 Max, so this is timely for me. Am I better to stay in Cura, or move to Creality Print? And if I move, what's the benefit?
