I mean this in the nicest way .. but when you’d been to Burt Orange, were back home and unzipped your long brown coat to reveal your new-bought black/gold trouser/jacket combo with dangly necklaces, my friend called out: “Suzi looks like Snoop Dogg!” and I laughed so much I nearly choked!! It really is freezing here in Lincolnshire..-7 when I went for my early morning walk 🥶..you are so right about January detox etc ..I do January hibernation..eat better ..cut down the alcohol..and pamper myself ...and generally ease myself into the new year gently ..plus for good measure I’ll be giving the Linwood products a go now ..Shirley Conran was spot on ..Life is definitely to short to stuff a mushroom..( though I love them😂) ....Brilliant vlog ..enjoyed every minute..have a great week !💕

I have high cholesterol and am interested in natural food that will lower that. I am so sad about Sox the Fox. You are an inspiration. I need to exercise more.
It's a tricky one to answer as everyone is different and some of it is hereditary. I would see a nutritionist if you can for the very best advice on cholesterol-lowering foods and the most natural and lots of googling from people you trust, as in Patrick Holford. Keep me posted. x

I love the girly dress it's adorable. I agree with you about not believing in diets. I just eat healthy everyday. I'm about your age but I don't really get out much. I've had a stroke about 7yrs ago which paralyzed my left side. I live alone and I do ok mind you I've had a lot of physical therapy. Don't know why I mentioned that. You haven’t missed much summer down here in Australia. Been 80% wet and cool and humid. We are hoping for a dry and sunny Autumn but, as you said, the climate is crazy all over the world so won’t be holding our breath for improvement. Fingers crossed that you strike best weather when you do make it down here🇦🇺👍

@@AlternativeAgeing Seriously, all this roughage and a flat stomach for the first time in my life… at 70! It’s absolutely down to the 8 (to 10) hour eating window, nothing else has changed. Everything about bowel functioning is vastly improved. I was a lifelong late eater, craved carbs at bedtime since childhood, and NEVER had a flat belly. I just assumed I never would. Now, it’s a little soft, which is healthy at my age, but flat. Makes me very happy! It’s a common result apparently, but not one I expected. :0)

But they do have lots of Op Shops as they're called there and vintage and fantastic markets. If you're going to Sydney, Bondi Market is a must. I have bought some real winners there. @@AlternativeAgeing we’re not going until October, we’re going to Singapore for a few days first then on to Sydney for a couple of days before cruising up to Cairns etc, then back to Sydney and then on to New Zealand for another cruise. Hello Margaret, Thank you so much for your lovely message. I will do more on healthy eating and exercise when I can. It is just jumping and dancing on the trampoline though. It depends on the music! Must go and do a quick 3-5 minutes now. Soho Club is just a private members club for “creatives”, I thought it would be good to widen my circle and I have joined the Book Club already! We've had some bitter cold days here in the smoky mountains of western NC but aside from a bit of snow a lot of very cold rain which my fur baby hates, so he gets bundled too. I haven't gotten my tights out though I did rearrange them in the dresser while looking for a beret I've lost; too cold for my skirts and am fearing my belly's grown ( need to be comfy). Yes gut health is so important. I wish that lovely company in the UK delivered their wonderful flax seed to the US. Great food options at lunch with Linda. However, I am being sent some new products especially for grey hair so will feature them if I like them soonest. x

Thank you Mary, I only wear high-waisted panties and normal bras, which I hate! I tend to buy LilySilk bra and bra vests nowadays as they are so comfortable and have no under wiring. But I am quite small so they work for me. I need lifting up for sure but little support, if that makes sense! x

I've been diagnosed as being low in potassium. No appetite,. weight loss and other symptoms. Serious condition as per Dr Google. I'm all out of whack. Forcing myself to eat, n prescribed potassium tabs.
@@dianahogg6164 So sad to hear that. I hope a real Doc has advised rather than Doc Google! Have you tried smoothies as a way of getting sustenance into you that is just liquid? You could add spirulina and chlorella green powders for essential greens packed full of potassium? Or Athletic Greens. I would see a qualified nutritionist if I were you and get the best advice on potassium packed smoothies. Keep me posted. x

Hi Suzy. Love the shirts, head scarf and your wonderful personality. I love different and I love 'funky' and crazy, artsy looks (I am also 73. Love my chunky boots. I am guessing that your skirt is 'high end' clothing. But to me it looks like who ever sewed the plaid didn't know what they were doing, not to mention the unpleasant look of the hem line. My opinion it isn't flattering or 'artsy'. Sorry for the 'negative' but just being honest. Love your growing old gracefully and with a lot of spunk. Namaste
