I love Harleys!!!!! once you own one, you don't care how much it cost$$$$ to keep it on the road....trust me that sound of the engine is UNIQUE!!!!!!! love the videos.
(about the seat), Yea i noticed the posthole on flst has an additional peice of iron inside as if to inhibit that option ,i guess if possible to remove , would be a chore , or possibly a different size pole, also have to make way for a set of helper springs, but feel would totally take the look back to ( pardon the new term) very nice throwback. If i succeed , will let you know , surely someone has done this by now , thanks ! Also , i appreciate you holding to the price on that 80 fxb lik
I had a '69, same color. Big old buddy seat, and my girl would ride on it all squished up against me. Good times. Wish now I kept it. Bought it in 1979 for $1600.00
you could have either a solo seat, like shown, or a buddy seat. buddy seats were an option that you could have installed on any 4 speed shovel up to 1981. technically, you can also installed them on that shovels made 1982 and later, but these have a different seat post and take a 45 cubic inch seat post to make it work.
no one's bothered to altered the frame to such a degree. Also, your EVO motor is in the way, that is why the tube is squished. I would not suggest it. Ridged frames like what the Softtail emulates are VERY different. RE the 1980 and the others. Selling at an extreme loss should only be done when either you need the money desperately, or you can take the money and make a lot of money with it, enough to cover the extreme loss plus a lot.
hey huntings i have a question my grandpa has a 1972 harley flh everythings original except the seat but he does have the old one... and its only got inbetween 3-7000 miles on it what would that b worth? also it has a dent in the tank which he plans to get fixed only about a golf ball size or smaller.

Actually, I ride with flip flops. My feet can no longer handle boots or shoes

@@HuntingHarleys it’s a miracle I can. Ride at all.. till I can’t throw a leg over..
Should have a kicker, all bikes should have a kicker.
What's this motorcycle worth in today's market?
condition and location sold need to be considered 1st
Makes sense. I was wondering about this particular bike in the video in 2018.
somewhere around 9k to 13k
That’s a sweet ride! One of my faves! To bad Harley won’t stay with the nostalgic look they had.
