Sir pls explain for M[(AB)(CD)E2]. Where AB and CD are unsymmetrical bidentate ligands and E is monodentate ligand. How many Geometrical isomers are possible? And whether they are optically active or not

In other way! Sir we can say that .... When 2grp are present at 90 degree it is for CIS Where as 2grp are present at 180degree for TRANS....

Dear student, It is not correct to say 90 degrees for CIS - at all, but you can say 180 degree for Trans- according to authentic book Jerry March Advance organic chemistry international edition
