I'm so grateful to have been touring the site of Ground Zero when Engine Ten was coming back from a call and I witnessed them doing their normal routine while another tourist and I were watching them: it was such a humble sight to see. :-) It was a disappointment when I learned that Ten House doesn't allow tourists to see inside their department anymore due to past tourists obstructing the station when they're on calls.

343+1... When will they learn that a firefighter died alongside them that day. They never include him. Poor guy got left behind. The true tally is 343 Firefighters!!! May all the brave souls of from September never be forgotten.
The total is still growing. As of Sept 2022, 542 FDNY firefighters & EMS personnel, including Chief of Department Pete Ganci, died of injuries or illness as a result of the collapses. In addition, 23 police officers from NYPD & 37 from the Port Authority died on 9/11 or shortly after. I may have missed some but that's the latest count I could locate. They are not forgotten. None of them.
@@dbyers3897 I'm referring to a 344th fire fighter that died in the world Trade center collapse on 9/11/2001 saving lives right alongside FDNY, he was Fire patrol. Firefighters claim not to leave anyone behind but he was left behind. The brotherhood extends all over the world.
And it wouldn't be New York without the fruitcake on the corner declaiming something. OK, it *might* have been a tour guide, but I can't see how "Keep it tight!" (00:34ish) fits into explaining an FDNY turn-out.

Made here in Clintonville, Wisconsin!! I can hear the factory testing the horn from my house, and see the new rigs out getting a test drive often.

Awesome catches!
When was that ladder 10 clip filmed?
2:20 that sounds like a Cummins running on 5 cylinders.

Absolutely. Yelling on a street corner in Manhattan is a God-given right & public expectation. Amen.
