It seemed to me that Paris metro has improved a lot in term of cleanliness and safety since my last visit. What are you thoughts on this ?

Clearly they make a huge improvement.
Because they prepare for the 2024 Olympic games in Paris 😅.
Lot of change between the Olympic and the Grand Paris Express project which one of the biggest metro construction.
@@ginamianda2254 née
They have to remove the oldest metros like the mp59 mp73 mf67 mf77 and make some stations look more modern
@@central-city I was in France more than once!
il y a longtemps que je ne voyage pas à Paris et que je ne prends pas le metro, j'espère y être dans quelques années; En plus du fait que pour moi, écouter le bruit des trains, sans que personne ne parle, c'est thérapeutique, relaxant......
@LeFerrovipathe Pareil pour le MP89

Voilà
I love the Paris Metro so much! Mostly line 6. I don't really know why but this is my personal favorite line.
Surely the Passy viaduc where you can see the Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur, Montparnasse, Seine and the fac that its the most aerial line ?
Imagine line 6 with the same trains as line 1, 4 & 14. Now book a new flight to Paris.
Line 7 is my favorite
WOW!!! Fantastic Video! I love Paris Metro!
J’adore le metro de paris
idem !
Sen paris metrosunu seviyorsan ben de paris metrosuna bayılırım
Wow!! So cool!
Brilliant video! Despite being British, I have to say the London Underground is still my favourite, but the Paris Metro is my favourite European metro network along with the RER, and outside of Europe my favourite is the New York Subway. Anyway, once again a fantastic video, thanks for making and sharing! Have liked & subscribed. 👍👍
No what you see is an illusion
The real rer and the real parisian metro is pure evil
Thousonds of people, accidents, robbers, trash talking, late, and smells bad
The RER is on a other level of hell
Come to Moscow 😂
J’adore le métro de Paris :)
Belle vidéo j’aime beaucoup !!
I love the MF01 like the one in line 5. The rides are smooth and quiet. The deceleration and brakes are not abrupt. I can balance quite well without holding on for dear life like on the automated MP05s. I find it's face cute and insect like. I also adore its gangways, the look of the large, convex black outlined doors and that it's air-conditioned.
Though, I like the engine sounds of the MP05 when it accelerates. Can't wait till the new lines are completed!
My absolute favorite trainset, too. The large windows, on sunny days, allow the rays of the sun to warm you while you watching the city moving. Silky smooth and quiet. Love it.
Crazy thing i found out, The toulouse alstom metropolis is gonna be way larger than the MP14 even though the MP14 is large enough.
You back !!!!
génial
I was there and oh boy it was so packed I barely could breath in the city but I loved the metro system
Wow metro paris
les métros de Paris sont trop cools
For information : since that video was published, line 6 adopted the MP89 from line 4, while said line adopted MP05, the same trains as lines 1 and 14.
I love it
J' ❤ Métro De Paris
Belles vidéos
Beutifull vidéo
its cool it has modern trains
The line 10 Station at 14 mins where there's another track in the background is featured on a recent(ish) Geofftech video
Mirabeau Line 10,i saw his video.
This station was my childhood one and I always dreamed of the train taking off, like it was on a ramp.
I like the glass protection to avoid accidents, looks very safe.
Line 14 is very good.
This is the best and I Liked ligne 1,4 and 14
It's Because they automatic you love it?

Hello, I have three questions:
- Why are all the trains different?
- Are lines 1 and 14 automatic?
- What do the names of the stations correspond to?
The trains are different mostly for these 3 reasons :
- Some lines use rubber tyred trains (1,4,6,11,14) and the others don't
- Some lines are automated (1 and 14 (4 will be soon as well)) and use driverless trains
- For economic reasons, trains are usually ordered in rather small batch, to be dispatched on 1 or 2 lines, as renewing all the rolling stock at once would be way too costly. That's why some trains are very modern, as they've been renewed recently, while other have been waiting to be withdrawn and exchanged for years.
---
Station names in Paris (and this apply in most cities worldwide) refers usually to the street or square they are serving, or a landmark close to it (Mainline railway station, museum, shopping mall...). You can find in the description all the station featured in the video.
@@central-city Thanks
@LeFerrovipathe 2023
@@central-city For the name, it can also refer to famous people
@@Lodai974 ça c sur le papier
I don't know that have anounces in spanish.
And rubber wheel trains reminds me a Mexico City SCT Metro.
The trains on Line 1 sound like the MPM-10s of the Montreal Metro. Probably because they were both made by Alstom
Wow amyzing🎉 0:39
Hi, I really like your videos. Congratulations!
What was interesting about the metro in Paris, the one you filmed had rubber wheels like the bus.
Greetings from ❤️Freiburg 🌲 the Black Forest🇩🇪 Germany (with the 🚋tram through ❤️Freiburg). all the best
I’m Parisian and we have no idea what the line 3bis and 7bis are here for. Ive surely never been on them or know anyone who has been on them 😂
Also, note how every station has different lights and different colour seats. So even when you can’t see the sign, you know where you are
I do live in the 19th district and as many of my neighbors I frequently use these "bis" lines as they serve quite populated areas located away from main lines' paths.
Especially when you're living on the top of the Buttes Chaumont hill or on the Pyrénées / Gambetta plateau, they offer a pretty useful way to avoid having to climb to get back home.
They are small feeding lines to the main ones and allow for the entirety of Paris to be served by metro lines while not having to walk more than 400 meters to find a station.
Given their short lengths, it's rather normal that you've never taken them if you don't live in 19th or 20th districts or don't go there.
Other lines being much longer, serving as backbones, there's a much higher probability for you to ride them even if you don't live or work on the path they serve.
It's not because you've never used them that they are useless.
They serve a real purpose and their users would really hate to see them gone !
Go ride them when you get a chance, they are fun and I'd say "cute" with their smaller trains.
@@KyrilPG it is true, I never go up that hill (I’m in the 11th) or the rare occasions when I do I get the bus
7bis is the old branch of line 7, which was separated from line 7 during the 1960s because of too great a difference in traffic.
Line 3Bis is the old line 3. Before, line 3 went to Porte des Lilas and used the line 3bis station as a gambetta station.
The current station of the 3 was a tunnel and the western extremity was the station Martin Nadaut 3:05 (it is the current portion of the station of the M3 which is unused when one arrives from Pere lachaise). In fact the Gambetta M3 station is the longest of the network, 180m long.
In 1970 for the extension to Bagnolet-Galliéni, the Gambetta Pte de Lilas portion was disconnected and the M3Bis was created. The current Gambetta M3 station was created and merged with Martin Nadaut, and Line 3 was extended to Galliéni.
There is always a connecting pathway between M3 and M3bis.
my favorite line is the 5 beacuse their trains are cool
Excellente vidéo mais pouvez-vous me dire tous les stations des lignes que vous aviez faite (merci pour la vidéo ❤❤)

I went to France!
Is it just me or are the windows exceptionally big?
When metro de Santiago de chile ?
Hello, as i am claustrophobic i'd like to know if most lines are underground? if you can provide a percentage that would be very helpful so i know what to expect. :) thanks in advance!
- Line 6 is about 50% overground
- Line 8 is overground in Créteil area
- Line 2 is overground in the North of Paris
Other than that is either fully underground or very small overground sections
Line 6 has a large portion overground, line 5, 2 and 8 have some overground sections and other lines are occasionally overground for short spurts.
What I would recommend is to only use lines 1, 2, 4, 5, 7bis, 9 and 14 since their trains have massive windows nearly the full height of the train that makes the train feel spacious even In tunnels. The older trains on the other lines have much smaller windows that make them seem smaller.
Line 1 is overground in the West

Try the Dubai Metros and the New York metros too they're cool
Dubai metro doesn't have that cool train, its slike standard 1980s train and they only got 2 lines of subway. And new york i don't know much about it. However Toulouse metro have 2 line and 1 in construction they use VAL 208/206(4 cars) in line A and the same in line B(2 cars) in line C it will be a train mesurating 36meters(2 cars) and can be extended to 48 meters(3 cars). Here will be air conditioners LED pannels the ability to pass through the train width of 2,70 meters Doors that are more wider. And lastly Dissapearence of folding seats to avoid crowds.

8:54 19:27 why are these trains in this kind of livery?
It is the livery of the organizing authority....The jade green of the RATP is disappearing.

Hello
Yaaaaaa neden 1 ve 14 üncü hatlar otomatik???? 😮💨
Screw these ads!!!
Best lines: 3, 3bis, 6, 10, 11, 12
Subjective opinion but I prefer the newer livery of mf77 trainsets
ironically, the first livery of the Mf77 was full white, it was nicknamed the white metro(metro blanc)...then it received the jade green RATP livery in the early 90s.
@@Lodai974 Really ?
My friends, babysitters and I called it the "métro bleu" when I was a kid as the interior was all blue.
At some point they were blue on the outside too.
@@KyrilPG Yes !!! the old colors of the metro were blue (light blue and also yellow for the first class, and darker blue "Bleu Roi" from the 80s) .But the Mf77s never received this livery, they remained white with blue on the nose.
why do all the trains have the same colour?? shouldn't the lines be differentiated by color??
the symbols and the line is not the same
Tyey have color
Because it’s the famous color of RATP (green or vert « jade ») RATP is the operator of the Paris metro
