Rae's body was in ACTUAL reactor, top left, Nade and Courage passed each other at ENGINE top left, Anyone could've been in reactor, and Courage at engines may never have even gone in reactor room
Since apparently none of them know the difference
If he says he wasn't in reactor, Nade would've started saying that's a lie
Courage not only needed to understand what it was Nade was accusing him of, but also, start all the way at "clarifying what reactor" is, and what "upper engine and lower engine are" in order to get out of it, and multiple people were already like "nope its Jack"
They got him for absolutely the wrongest, most brainless reasons, and if he had actually been doing tasks in upper engine, they would've still thought "It's Jack"

They literally could've gone the opposite direction from Nade
It could've have even just been Nade self-reporting and pinning it on the guy who confirmed himself passing Nade shortly before the report

cause I had tasks to do in reactor, o2 goes off, There's Rae's body in the top left, only person I passed was Courage
Someone could've literally been standing in security and did it
someone could've vented and did it, and vented out in the amount of time it took for Nade to reach there
Someone could've just did it and ran the opposite direction of Nade
It could've happened literally in front of Nade, just before he managed to see into the room, and they still would've agreed it was Courage with that level of accusation.
It could've happened AGES ago, and Courage could've literally had nothing to do with that kill, and Nade would've still accused him, and that level of accusation would've still passed despite being unrelated.
Like I said before Nade could've even just been self-reporting right there, and accused him, who just passed, and everyone would've accepted it
The killer could've even LITERALLY been camped in the vent under Rae, and Nade would've still accused him for basically no reason, and everyone would've accepted it.
Because clearly with how the others sounded
they think "Top left reactor" is the area beside medbay
Which is the upper Engine and not reactor at all.
Reactor is beside Security, sandwiched between upper and lower engines, and again. Rae's body, is in Reactor, not engine, Top left reactor, yes, but not Engine, where Courage and Nade passed each other, There's literally nothing with that passing, That suggests Courage EVER went into reactor where the body was
I don't even own or play Among us, and I know more about the layout of that ship than the players at that moment did.
With that level of evidence and reasoning, they got LUCKY that courage was not only actually an impostor, but double lucky that he actually had killed rae there, we talking one in millions chance of luck here. There's soooo much room for Courage to have not been the killer, and still room beyond that, for him to not even have been an imposter.
Nah you dont vote someone that early off that little evidence. Cuz the next person would more than likely be a crewmate passing by and getting thrown out for no reason. They were lucky as hell that he was actually an imposter.
