- A scramble of short video recordings I manage to do while exploring and having a blast in Az and all its flora & fauna.
For my 1st real jaunt herping here; the bar has been set pretty high. That being side, I'd love to come back and encounter some montane rattlers.
That's a cool flip on the lyre, not common at ALL. Stunner too! And a mtn king?!? C'mon, man. Probably passed your vehicle at some point, we've been bouncing all over AZ, keeping a low profile. Looks like a sweet adventure.
Grateful for all Arizona provided on one of its less-desirable monsoon season. My sis lives out in Phx so I get to do family and herping; can’t beat that. Yea hope to link with ya sometime.
@@goldenhipsterjourneys6728 Hard to go wrong in AZ even when the monsoon doesn't play along. My bro lives here, other relatives here and now we're here. Herping and family, same deal. Be cool to cross paths sometime for sure.
Nice find on the Lyre Snake! I look for them every time in AZ but never found one yet.
Yea it really was a luck of the draw that I would just flip one. The weather was really conducive for herps that day though. I know you'll find soon; just keep pushing !
Wow, great job with the Lyre Snake and that knoblochi!! I was just out in AZ and saw some common low-elevation stuff like D-backs and Mojave, but higher up, I had little luck other than one gorgeous Tiger Rattler and some cool amphibs in Northern AZ (video forthcoming soon). Take care!
Even if I saw and caught less; I’d still be satisfied being in some of Az amazing eco-types and the views with it.
That being said, the knob was hands down an unreal snake to a midwesterner like me.
(I’ll itching for that video haha.)
