... what a perfect background for this wonderful song. The above picture taken on February 27th, 1995 is nothing less than the very first photo portrait of the Spice Girls as officially such, after being the 'Touch' band for some months since May 1994. Five marvels at this point still honing their skills, waiting for the unbelievable surprise they will give the pop universe next year...
Mel C used the lyrics from this chorus "Is this joy, is this pain, sunshine, or is it rain?" and crafted them forward into a part of the chorus in ♡Let Love Lead The Way♡ that goes "Why is there Joy? Why is there pain? Why is there Sunshine then the rain". So cool!!!😁
What a beautiful song. It should have been released in 1995 or 1996 or 1997. Another song that is awesome is "Take Me Home." They look so innocent in this photo. How time passes. Posh Spice looks very ethnic. Her vocals are nice.
... unfortunately, this particular song didn't even made it into a B-side, although performed with an impressive and perfect voice and magnificent atmospheric sounds. One thing is for sure: the world itself wasn't ready for these girls about one year later, when the whole pop universe would be taken aback by such a phenomenon. As for 'Is This Love?' from their early era , I'd rate it FIRST CLASS and more than worth staying in the 'Spice' album. But we're listening here at something like ''A song from Melanie Chisholm feat. the other Touch Girls'' rather than a song by the entire group, and in my opinion this was the actual reason for it getting unreleased.
Yea they was suppose to be an r&b group it was Geri that actually convinced dem to go with the more pop sound , if they stayed r&b Victoria would’ve probably sang more cause her voice fits the r&b girl group sound the most to me

Woah that's so cool! I never would've noticed that if you hadn't pointed it out!😮😍
Omg I can't believe I notice this 21 years later lmfao
I love that part.
there's a reason why these songs were put on the B-Sides. They just weren't ready for the world at the time
I love the harmonizing in this song on the chorus
Mel C is pure soul in this song!
I love this song!! It reminds me of 1999 when I discovered this jewel on Napster 😍 Good times
Love hearing this raw material from the young girls
Many of the unreleased songs are just as good as the recorded ones. This is one of them.

Victoria ❤
They started off singing R&B, then when they released their first album, they switched to pop.
Say you'll be there, naked, love thing, last time lover, if you can't dance and besides like take me home and baby come round are very R&B influenced
Started off pure R&B then dropped their original management and went it alone going pip along the way.
@@youredelicious9945 Love Thing? Really?
They actually had elements of hip hop.
Yea they was suppose to be an r&b group it was Geri that actually convinced dem to go with the more pop sound , if they stayed r&b Victoria would’ve probably sang more cause her voice fits the r&b girl group sound the most to me
