Took the ACT in 1985 and got a 22, but only a 15 in the math section, which kept me from applying to the Naval Academy which was my dream at that time. Oh well life turned out alright anyway, and I did end up in the Navy for an enlistment.

So it's settled... they let way too many people into institutions of higher learning lately.

"The only way to stop him was with a handgun or a math book..." That's awesome

There's been a couple of 'corrections' over the years that college's apply. My 28 in '89 is now a 30+ and yours probably is too.

I never knew the college entrance tests were so regional. I live in Iowa and graduated in 1994. We had the ACT then, and that is what they still do now. We have never had the SAT here. Does anyone know how the tests stack up? Is one more involved or longer than the other, or are they basically on the same difficulty level with different scoring? I know it took several hours to do the ACT. I never did study directly for them and got s 23...pissed off my buddy who studied for days and got a 22....any time you can piss a buddy off like that...good day lol.
