A crazy fun weekend to celebrate Mama!

We celebrated Kelli’s birthday by heading to Garden Valley, Idaho to spend a few nights at the cabin. We spent Friday in McCall but first we stopped at Trail Creek Hot Springs. There were quite a few groups there so we hiked down to the deserted hot spring that was entirely too hot to handle! It was a beautiful spot and we had a fun time despite it probably not being the best hot spring of the bunch. In McCall we visited Ice Cream Alley (a favorite!), Ponderosa State Park despite the windy, slightly rainy weather, before having dinner at Cutwater at the Shore Lodge. It was a long day for all of us and Britton actually fell asleep on the way home which never happens. Saturday we took the girls to their beloved “Garden Valley Pool” which is located at Terrace Lakes. They swam nonstop for almost 1.5 hours before dragging them out of the pool. Kelli’s dad bought a delicious lemon cake to celebrate after swimming. Overall it was an amazing birthday weekend full of fun times and great memories.
