- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday replied to the debate on the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address in the Lok Sabha. The Lok Sabha had taken up discussion on the Motion of Thanks, moved by BJP member Chandra Prakash Joshi, on Tuesday, after three days of disruptions in Parliament.

Honourable PM came up with the funny narrative of two youths leaving behind their guns in the car in the middle of a jungle when they notice a tiger is right there. Alas guns in the car, they show the licence of the gun to the tiger! Drawing comparison to congress 2004 to 2014 regime where a lot of terrorists were going around freely with congress not taking them on showing some bag of tricks deceit to the people. Nice mockery story however as a PM and especially since India prides itself in its compassion towards its state animals and our recent missions to safeguard the wild, this is a bad example. you forgot to mention that majority of the loans given to Adani were between 2004 - 2014.
When it comes to outside India, Modi government should do whatever it takes to make sure that Indian MNCs should win contracts overseas, other countries also do the same, whenever US president visits India, he comes with leaders of various MNCs who are based in US. India should also do the same.
As far as contracts inside India are concerned, Adani was awarded many contracts in Rajasthan under Gehlot and Punjab under Amrinder, Kerala under communists and Bengal under Mamta. Its not just BJP states. their business model is very risky but effective in winning bids by outbidding opponents though it is very risky for them as an organization but doesnt concern India. It is a decision made by a private company and government can not interfere in this. recently Adani has announced 1000 crore investment in my state of Punjab.
