This is a great state park! Especially for South Carolina state parks standards.

Just down the road from the Living History Farm is Camp Cherokee (run by the Rock Hill YMCA). I went there for the summers of 1970 through 1976. Just up the road from the camp, if you walk back into the woods, you can find Revolutionary War trenches that were dug with quartz rocks lining the upper parts.

We stayed at KMSP a couple of years ago. We enjoyed the revolutionary war museum there. They have interactive exhibits and a short film. We spent most of an afternoon there and didn't get through it. Maybe we can go again and time it right to enjoy the living history farm, too. Thanks for the video!

    Very cool park Tony🌹
I know about the CCC. They were men who were victims of the Dustbowl.
They did a lot of work at state parks, digging up artifacts.
Then after the park work they got sent off to WW2.

Actually the cccs was for unmarried men during the depression to put men to work. Men between v18-24 but the Age changed

I wonder why they don't allow swimming there anymore? I would love to work at a place like that, would definitely be my dream job

Good question. I know a lot of parks stopped because of liability
