- This video was shot by me during the burial of Harold W Nwadeyi, a dear friend of mine that was murdered on April 23, 2010, at around 2000 hours. He was shot and killed by a team of professional asassins with AK47's on the streets of the GRA (Government Residential Area) section of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The perpetrators were never apprehended.

Coffin meme dance 2020
Similar to what we do in Louisiana. I see our African similarities.
May I use a portion of this video (only a few seconds) to be included in my video as a visual illustration, I will include the source of your video in my video and in the video description
This video was taken in 2011, and now you're here seeing this in 2020....
People calm down...This is a CELEBRATION OF LIFE honoring the deceased...I personally would much rather have a glorious HOMEGOING ceremony like this than everyone dressed in Black moaning, crying and screaming... Although I do understand that whomever posted this video should have gotten proper consent from the family first...
Okay.
After reading the comments well i understand its their culture and tradition.
May i know the history behind this culture ?
When they introduced first coffin dance ?
What is the story or logic behind it ?
I would like to know more.
Was something like this in one of the James bond MOVIES in new Orleans then the guns comes out lo

It's their own traditions

Indomie is really famous in africa
Indomi is from indonesia for all the world
Those dancers are paid. Aside from being ritualistic, it's one way for funeral homes to lessen the high unemplyoyment rate among men.
Omg..are they crazy??
Nigerians like to celebrate the life of our dead

who the hell are you how dare you put this video up on the internet you totally disrespecting my family , what kind of an insult is this you better remove this video. I mean do you even understand the legal implications involved this is extremely uncalled for and I would motion that you immediately remove this video failure to do so will result in action against you legaly
Prince Nwadeyi - This people are dancing on public street, and every citizen owns the public street. The people that are dancing around in that manner are the one disrespecting the deceased person. Any person can video tape anything that take place out on public street. As he can claim I am out taping the street and you just choose to be on the street the same time. You have absolutely no privacy on public street and some people don't seem to realize that universal fact. Even in developed countries some people think they have privacy on public places. It's funny to see their reaction when the police tell them they have no privacy on public places.
Prince Nwadeyi wat
Dude's grammar isn't the best.....but he does have a point.
Harold may your gentle soul rest in peace. You are much missed. Truly you were a good friend and brother. Ps. This video is a tradition in Nigeria, Jay rest his soul did not mean any disrespect to you or the family. At the point of posting this video he was grieved as we all were. Bless you Haro! Rest in peace.
